I'll take the 2X L?
I'm going to bet that if you wash that XL Atari 50 shirt in hot water the first wash, it'll fit you just fine!
The Buick Skyhawk was a rebadged Chevy Cavalier. There were also Olds, Pontiac, and even Caddy versions of that same car.
Chicory 🤮 not a fan of that. Keep up the streams though Adrian and have a wonderful Christmas 🥳
The IBM 4865 external 3.5" drive has the first 4 pins of the DC-37 dedicated to power.
Pin 1 +12
pin 2 12 return (ground)
pin 3 5 return (ground)
pin 4 +5
Otherwise the pinout is identical to the connector on the PC/XT and 4869 PS/2 floppy. (You may also safely interchange between those because although the PC/XT OEM FDC does not supply power on those pins, they are left N/C at the controller side and will not short or overvolt anything.)
MotorWeek video from 1986 says the Buick Rivera is controlled by "Two 8-bit microprocessors with 32,000 words of memory for graphics." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lkaazk68iGE
This is another good video about the system from the user's pov https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEzEbS4uvuo
I used PintMaster to make my wedding invatations in 1984.
I played SO. MUCH. CHOPLIFTER. on the Apple //c as a kid and I'm still mad that my parents never told me I could get color if I hooked it up to the TV.
Ultimate 1541 2+ is better than the pi. Not only is it cycle accurate, it also does cartridges and tapes as well. And it does fast loading and ram expansion. It's the best device for the c64. and it's not limited to 1541 anymore. It does all the drives
I wonder if the retrotink 4k would work better. lol It's BRAND new.
The Skyhawk is basically a Chevy Cavalier with more options.
I remember back in the 70's in the UK you could only get CAMP coffee (sort of a syrup) and it had chicory, and it was gross.
Somewhere I have a NuBus card that goes with those Apple floppy drives. It's just for file transfer, not a DOS compatibility card. I've never used it because I've never had a drive to go with it, so I've no idea if it works.
Why would any person sane of mind use chicory in his coffe? I remember my late father narrating that chicory was used (dried and treated) as tobacco surrogate during WWII when imports were nil and the local production of tobacco (most of the times going prematurely in smoke due the bombardments) was too little to cover the national demand here in Italy. I'm quite flabbergasted.
I went to New Orleans on a business trip this past summer. If you ever find yourself there, hit up the New Orleans City Park. There's a lot of cool stuff to see / do, and a Café Du Monde in the park!
But if you can choose when to go, definitely avoid summer. It was hot, wet, and I'm pretty sure I got a little bit of heat stroke.
Not safe should have been a pair of scissors. I see so many people opening boxes with scissors and it's just, why? You don't have anything better?
I've ridden on the Apple Cider Century! It's a long running ride – it had to be about 40 years ago the last time I rode it.
The Skyhawk was based on the Chevy Monza and was as base as it got. The Somerset was an upscale Skylark.
Ah, Choplifter my early 80's xmas is now complete….
Adrian try the chicory coffee with the beignets. Trust me, it taste completely different if you have them together like that. I don't like chicory either, but I do like it in the Cafe du Monde coffee and with their beignets.
