i've always loved the aggressive masculine lines of the polestar 2, i thnk it's one of the best looking EVs in it's price range atm but the brain says get a tesla, efficiency, battery management, range, weight
and then theres the software – which is a really big deal when it comes to EVs, it's like buying a cheap chinese phone with all these amazing hardware specs but you can't take full advantage of them as the software is a buggy mess
great hardware needs great software, it might not give manufacturers the same bragging rights per dollar spent on the spec sheet but as a consumer when your EV doesn't die in 5 years due to poor battery management you'll appreciate it – not suggesting this a problem with polestar, they are definitely one of the better manufacturers, talking more towards the budget end of the EV market

These true winter tests are very helpful to demonstrate the bottom line for every car.

Love this car. I’ve made peace that it isn’t the most efficient- as a commuter car it feels quality and I’m never afraid of running out of range.

The drivers display interface looks very cheap, don’t like it
I cannot get my highland Sr above 140Wh/km… Weather has been consistent 5 to 15 degrees and mostly heavy rain. Plenty of 120 motorway driving as well.. (stock tyres and covers)

199Wh/km at 90kmh (even though in qinter) is massive … Polestar seems never to become really efficient 🤷♂️
