  1. Had any one seen the usb-c ports disconnect randomly? I thought my unit was defective so I swapped it out with another .. same issue. Tried to install games from an SSD and it kept disconnecting giving me a message saying "drive non existent" is great that it has 2 usbc ports but if neither work then it doesn't matter does it

  2. Not sure what this guy is smoking, there is a ton of tinkering required for the Steam Deck, it's a pain in the ass. Windows based devices are much easier to setup.

  3. Looks like a good product and addition to the quickly crowded portable gaming handheld market. I liked your video from last year about not buying from Best Buy anymore, and I agree. I wont be buying from my local Best Buy anymore due to the manager being a jerk. The manager called me in for an interview and wasted 10 mins of my time by passive aggressively telling me I had no personality. The manager also said that having knowledge of computers and tvs didnt really matter. I love electronics particularly pc hardware, gaming and tvs. I hope to be able to find a suitable job soon.

  4. The device charging slowly when in use sounds like a design choice, Ally does it, Steam Deck does it once 90% charge is reached (really horrible implementation of this feature), SONY has been doing it for ages, Samsung tried coining the technology as their own not too long ago, it's a pretty good idea to use the wall power instead of the battery when charging, it's a shame it's not more common yet.
Why would the device tell you the power level if it's off? It's more or less a laptop, it's not a function computers typically have.
Quick Settings seems to always have issues no matter the device, Steam Deck does it the worst by far. 9/10 times the menu won't open, sometimes you can trick it by mashing the button a few times. It's gotta be something to do with what programs and tabs the devices prioritize.
I can't imagine the display issue with games has to do with the landscape/portrait displays, Win11 itself should be telling every piece of software what orientation the screen is in.

  5. The rog ally was my first handheld I returned it because I wanted a bit bigger screen and I was not a fan of the white finish and didn't want to use a skin though yes I know some people love the white. The rog ally also did not include a case and for $39 you get a crappy soft shell case. I didn't like the fact that you had to add emulators to the asus app launcher for controls to work in emulation. I got a legion go from microcenter with a 2tb ssd pre-installed and I love it. Legion Space could use some improvements and they need to catch up on GPU drivers but you can manually install the latest amd graphic driver in device manager. It's amazing playing tekken 4 and 5 at 4x resolution butter smooth on an 8.8 inch display with widescreen patches of course. The only thing I liked better on the rog ally was the fact is has VRR support.

  6. My 1st time gaming on pc so the windows operating system doesn’t bother me. I really enjoy the legion go. My only gripe, is I can’t map keyboard buttons to controller because I’m not a mouse and keyboard type gamer. Hope they add it at a later date.

  7. I got rid of my deck and got the legion go. I honestly love it way better. Im a simple gamer who wanted a handheld just to play a few games while i watch things on tv and be mobile. This is simple for me and easy to follow to add drivers and all. I havent had all the problems others have thank goodness. Im gucci for now

  8. I'm really looking foward to buy one ever since it appeared. I've never had a gaming PC and my laptop is suffering to run the most simple games sometimes. So it would become my new "main PC".

Sadly here on Brazil, besides the fact that these things cost a kidney and an eye, you can't go anywhere carrying something like this, hell, we can't even hold our phones without worrying about thieves. So it would mainly stay inside my house, docked, which is definitely not a problem.

I'm really loving all the videos on it, and hopefully in a year or so when I can buy it there will be tons of new features and updates. ❤

  9. I currently own ayaneo 2, steam deck, rog ally, and the aokzoe a1 pro. I found my aokzoe a1 pro was my favorite it does have allot of short comings but overall great experience. After a few days with legion go i have to say my first impressions of the decide are really good. The screen and ergonomics are really good the software is crap and I've had it crash a bunch of times but i know that will get sorted out with updates. I really wish the upgrade of the hard drive was as easy as the ally where i don't have to clone the drive especially if I just want to start with the blank slate. It's such a bitch to have to go through all that. I really wanted the ayaneo kun but ended up going with legion go my experience with the ayaneo 2 was annoying. So i passed on them this time, to be honest i never liked my rog ally the screen with boarders look ugly not very immersive. I do think playing fighting games on it is the best the buttons and dpad are really good, but any aaa titles look so damn good on legion.

  10. I had the SD and Ally at launch. The Legion Go is by far the worst in terms of refinement. Their software is absolute rubbish.
I also don’t understand why the screen is so foggy at 800p. That setting should be clearer- something definitely off.
