Samsung made some changes this year that I’m not happy with and you should know about. First, the reversion back to the Exynos chip in the S24 and S24…

Really stuck between s24 ultra and oneplus 12🤦🏽
24 ultra the best thats it im iphone user and yes im going to use andriod much much you can do thats it and .
Comparing my s23 + to my new s24 ultra, and the s23+ seems to have deeper colours in pictures and phone display settings. Like the s24 ultra colours are washed out. Is anyone seeing the same?
We went to see the phones. Only ultra snapdragon. We said no . Considering two phones, axynos nah . Then there trade ups deals gone down in price. 😢
I’m actually optimistic about the Exynos 2400. Tests are looking good and I like that they went a little conservative with the clock speeds on the 5 middle A720 cores with 2@2.9GHz and 3@2.6GHz. That should translate to more thermal headroom for the GPU and modem. I like snapdragon but I am hoping Samsung does good with this SOC.
Other than the flat screen and SD 8 Gen 3, it's the same as the S23 Ultra. The S24 and S24+ are definitely not worth the upgrade over the S23 and S23+
U have said it all bro. I can't buy new Samsung with Exynos chip and with the same price tag.
The U.K. S24 ultra has the snapdragon processor. I contacted Samsung to confirm.
Dont listen to him its a kool phone
Its a good phone whatever need to be iron out soon .am buying two of The phone
The entire s24 series uses the same sensor for 3X Zoom and Ultra wide that has been in use since Note 20 series, and yes they have gotten the pricing absolutely wrong, given that they are selling it in most markets with the Exynos Chip
I think we have to understand that phones will not have major changes from now on. I am still surprised that people act so weird on that. They can not completely change the phone every year. The price has to do with how much your coin is worth in your country as well. Here the s24 ultra is even more expensive then in America and we also pay more for iPhones by the way. iPhone is still more expensive then the s24 ultra looking at the storage and that I receive the watch 6 LTE for free with it.
It is free until the end of next year
I guess I'll try not to get used to the AI features, if they're just going to eventually charge for using it. That aside, I'm mainly just upgrading from the S21 Ultra to a faster, longer term and well balanced phone.
So now you and 40 million other people have their new phone on Jan 31st. Everyone fires their phones up and begins to download updates… Should you WAIT 2-3 days to fire that phone up and get your updates to avoid server congestion ?
I truly believe the reason why you are becoming so much more popular is do to your realistic perspective and approach to the products that are being hailed as amazing. I completely respect all of your opinions because you talk about all the phones in a compare and contrast manner without being biased. Not many YouTube reviewers are like you and I appreciate you.
I would assume the price increase is due to Titanium. I dont know specifics about cost between aluminum and titanium but I would assume Ti to be more expensive???
It could be because of the S Pen that the ultra is higher.
I have the 23 ultra. I will wait to see what the 25 brings
Im on the fence between orange s24 ultra or pixel 8 pro. The s24 plus would be considered, but its more like the iphone 15 plus than a 15 pro with that camera.
As always thanks for the information.
I see this as a precursor for Google charging for software in the Pixel 9/Pro …
I’m trading my pixel 7 pro for the 24 ultra. I was going to get violet, but looked at one in Best Buy and wasn’t impressed. So, I went for the black instead.
Exynos is my s22+ has given me absolutely 0 issues i have literally no idea why you and whoever else is crying about it, maybe you guys were unlucky but mine hasnt overheated/lagged/stuttered… Its getting real boring hearing how scared evwryone is of the exynos 😂 anyway im looking forward to ky s24 ultra, upgraded because its finally a flat screen 😊
I was already adding S24 U to the shopping cart today. But I realized that I made it S23 U and I started to think.. no sense. I'm waiting for the S25 Ultra.
The exynos 2400 is better than Snapdragon in graphic
Agree with you on the exynos. Sad for those stuck with it 7 years potentially. The pay to play is an unacceptable trend. Phone anxiety is right, like range anxiety who needs it!?
To be honest, I watched the presentation live, and to this moment, I still don't remember what kind of new AI features there are, apart from the "google anything you circle", formal/informal speech transformation while messaging and live translation of speech. What I see is Samsung copying Apple in every way possible and losing its face, acting like a knock-off company. Not only they ditched the headphone jack and charger, the S24 Ultra has some new "Vegan leather" cases, which was also copied straight from Apple. I'm not even talking about the S24 Ultra being almost the same as the S23 Ultra, which I bought two months ago and will keep it for 4+ years, without any regret or desire to upgrade. I bought some original Samsung cases, 4 Samsung protective films and I'm packed. Thanks for nothing Samsung, the S24U is the S23.5 Ultra
I use a OnePlus open as my daily driver. I have a z fold 5 that sits in a drawer. You think it's worth trading in the zfold 5 and getting an sp24 ultra as a secondary device to use in situations that maybe can't use a foldable.
I would assume that the price increase is due to the newly announced 7 years of updates. And as far as them producing an in-house chip for their phones just ask Huawei about that.
Unlike the Essential PH1, Apple just has a titanium frame glued to the mid frame, not sure how Samsung implemented it but it'll be interesting to see.
wich countries wil get The exynos variants?
The reason they want to go with the exynos is that's their own arm license and they don't have to pay Qualcomm per chip for using Snapdragon. I think Samsung is trying very hard to use their own in-house stuff. Much like apple does to relieve themselves of the burden of the licensing fees from Qualcomm
I will use AI when I travel to Japan but it's mostly not needed it's just a nice thing to have.
Here in Sweden we always get the exynos chip, i prefer the exynos chip, the Snapdragon always slows down and start to lagg during browsing, the exynos dosent.
Im thinking it's a lot to do with bidennomics and inflation.
Titanium gets hot fast?
How long till you jump on the bandwagon any say nice things about the phone?
Samsung phone with Exynos chip will be cheap after 3 months only, here in vietnam for 1st month release it cost 1000usd for base model then 3 months later it will be 450usd. Exynos isn't good, most ppl will avoid it at all cost in Vietnam 😅
Samsung's loss of market share is pretty much self inflicted. That rumor that TM Roh is a double agent from a rival company sounds funny but might hold a little water.
Theres a report coming out with the 24 ultra camera having the same issues with moving subjects.
4 mistake: only S24 Ultra has the new anti-reflective victus Gorilla Armor glass and "interactive" aod/wallpapers 🙁
