  1. Sorry man, I know you were trying to save some money. But honestly it would have been worth just getting the right size m.2 NVME drive. Now that drive is going to get hot and so close to the battery is not a good idea. Anyone thinking about doing this I would think Twice, because already the chipset gets really hot, and the battery gets hot when charging, now you have a bigger drive on top of the battery. 😬 Yes it works but at what cost

  2. Nice, did you test the stock gen4 2242 in the 2280 adaptor to check if it limits the speed? A side from the cable length, I don't see it should impact the gen4 speeds much.
I wonder if that white cable is for the joycons, did you see if there was a printed antenna extended past the breaking point on the support bracket?

It'll be interesting to see if we can order a the back shell and support bracket to cut a mount into it.

  3. Have you tried without the white cable plugged in? Wonder what it is.

UPDATE: Ok, so I just try it without the white cable and the device is still functional. 😅

  4. Would be great if someone made an aftermarket back panel for these systems that would relocate the drive to an accessible area and allow for 2280 drives. It would obviously add thickness but it might be worth it for some.

  5. I did it the easiest way. I strapped on a Samsung T7 2.TB SSD onto the kickstand and it's stuck when kickstand is in or out. It isn't in the way for anything due to the size of Go. As for speed test, the original internal SSD is a 5500.MB/s like the one in PS5. I benchmarked it.
