I happen to be one of the lucky few to have a flippy drive from their limited beta release. It is absolutely amazing. Worth the extra price compared to the pico boot just for the nifty interface, much more cohesive than Swiss.

The problem with endo, is that they don't like the hand that put the meal on their table. and not only byte it, they beat it. if they want it to stop backup sharing, they need to put a team to port many popular games to the new era in DLC mode, not close estores, not shutdown servers as sony, and maybe, just maybe… good Luck Endo.

I have a dilemma.
I don't want to give Nintendo money.
I also don't want to wait for devices that allow me to dump Roms to play on a pc emulator.
New console is releasing sometime late 2025 or 26.
Want to get 2, one to play, one to keep stock and never update so that once a jailbreak exists, I can do it. Avoiding the current Switch issue.
But again…don't want to give them money for being a terrible company. And on top of that, as Linus said, if I by second hand, Nintendo could go draconian.

i just think its miserable to play on the nintendo switch. its such an outdated console and if i have to choose playing games at 30fps on switch or at 60+fps on my pc, im sorry but i will pick pc 10/10 times. i get their fight against piracy and im all for it as far as it concerns current gen games but i absolutely hate how nintendos approach to resell you the same old games over and over again is such a big pain. i own a snes, an n64, a wii and a wii u but sometimes i just want the best and smoothest experience but if i want that i need to buy all of those games i already own again on switch even tho i already have them. and the worst thing about it all is that the switch's built in emulation can be sub par at best.
