Why would you ever use a dummy battery with the Z8 when you have the extra usb-c for power delivery?
To find the exact center of gravity slide the rail over a small cylinder such as a short metal rod to find the balance point (basically a teeter toutter). It's very fast and precise. Record this setup using a piece of masking tape on the top of the rail with a line indicating the balance point. Repeat whenever any on the configuration changes.
