Great video. I will provide serious advice about the controls. Do not play with the default controls, play with the Standard controller configuration from GH1,GH2,GH3,GHA and GH80s.
For Playstation players ( difficulty easy, medium) L2 L1 R1 R2 [Overdrive activate = right on the DPad. (Difficulty Expert) L2 L1 R1 R2 X [Overdrive = right on the DPad.
FOR Xbox players (Difficulty Easy Medium) LT LB RB RT [Overdrive activate = right on the DPad. (Difficulty Expert) LT LB RB RT A [Overdrive = right on the DPad
i can say the lift are not that big of a deal if you double tap even on expert
I just configured my controls to L2, L1, R2,R1
It would be cool if Epic did something original.
I did not know about the lift note, also I just hook up my keyboard when I play.

I cant remember what song it was but the lift notes worked for it and some it didn't. I think these are the hammer on notes if there was a guitar but doing these on controller makes me 10x harder.

Honestly, for me, I just jumped straight into expert instead of building up. Because you want to get used to pressing a 5th button
i use L2 for lane one L1 for lane 2 R1 for lane 3 R2 for lane 4. if you play expert i use X for lane 5. i recommend these. theyre really good imo.

I used to play GH3 on a regular Xbox 360 controller so this sh1t is easy on expert, I love rhythm games though
