I bought an R6 Mark II last year and did lots of comparisons and got the Sigma 85 1.4 Art. It's 99% as sharp as the RF 50 1.2, and the Sigma focuses way faster, and is smaller, is is 1/3 the price (and has a 7 year warranty vs Canon's 1 year warranty). It was a no brainer! The diff between 1.2 and 1.4 is not noticeable unless you post pics side by side and pixel peep (and know what to look for)
i have the 1.4 is and i enjoy its sharpness and speed of its af on video on the r5 and r6ii
