Doug just realised that centre pivot windows have holes at the top so you can lock the windows in place when they're slightly open for ventilation!!! 🤯

How do people dont know this? 😂 we had velux windows for more than 25 years and my mum always cleaned them like this from the beginning. I am almost certain it was mentioned in the instruction manuals when my dad installed them back then.
On some windows there is also a hole on top to open it for a bit of ventilation when there is a bit too much wind.😅

Dam he’s right you know. I’ve just been to check mine and there it is, bolt and hole for it. Not a lot of use though because mines 4m up in the air and the only way to clean them is from the flat roof outside. But you live and learn 😂

I have incredibly old Velux skylights (probably 28-ish years, possibly more) in my home, will have to check when I go upstairs but I think they have this also. Also, I just thought Velux was a Canadian company lol. TIL they’re international 😂. Thanks for the video!

In America 🙄 …There Is A Handle On The Side Of The Frame It Runs The Entire Length and Width Of The Window. You Pull Up and Down And A Rubber Blade / Squeegee Slides Up and Down Against The Glass! Get This You Can Load A Liquid Window Cleaner In The Top Pocket And it Comes Through Holes In The Rubber Blade. Slide The Blade Up and Down The Frame Three To Four Times And Your Done! ITS AMAZING And Worth Every Penny! PLUS Has The Latch To Hold It In Place In Case You Need To Hand Clean it Or replace The Glass Or Thick Heavy Duty Rubber Blade!!! BUT MAN THEY ARE EXPENSIVE!!!!
