  1. Just opened it up and spent about an hour with this unusual hunk of plastic.

Has an axial deadzone on both joysticks, making it the first hall effect gamepad I've used or heard of with that implemented. It's horrible and makes pretty much any game that's not racing unplayable.

The joysticks and triggers auto calibrate every time the gamepad is turned off and on. I believe this is the phenomenon that Gamer Heaven was experiencing in his review. They will not function properly until you have fully rotated the sticks and pressed the triggers down at least once.

This gamepad has a bug where if you are connected through Bluetooth, which is read as a DualShock 4, and then plug in the gamepad the PC will see both seperate inputs! This means double inputs. Both DS4 and X360 showed up together in gamepadtester, and I could run Xinput test while I was still connected as a DS4 controller and to my surprise the polling rate was different than when just connected as a X360 gamepad.

It's a very comfortable gamepad for someone like me who prefers symmetrical stick layouts. The smooth cheap plastic is a nice change from stippled cheap plastic lol.
The 4 main face buttons are a surprisingly nice texture, but lots of wobble, almost no pre travel, and tons of post travel.

The joysticks have a resolution that seems on par with my T4K. I believe each step is 0.78% giving it about 128 from center to edge. Definitely not as granular in the center like the G7SE.

XInput test gives me a consistent 6ms in Xinput mode wired. I have a Bluetooth 5.2 motherboard with antennas, and at about 3 feet away I got a moderately consistent 4ms similar to the DS4. Gyro was 5ms.

Touchpad is useless in Xinput mode, which I expected and is unfortunate because I play wired.

Dpad is atrocious. Diagonal inputs basically impossible without unusual amounts of force.

Back buttons had potential. Very comfortable and placement for me was nice, but because they are flimsy plastic it means the plastic must first bend before actuation happens giving them pre travel, If they were more rigid they would be commendable.

When I reached out to QRD support about a week ago they led me to believe they have software to adjust the controller, but I see no sign of it. I will be contacting them again when I have time to at least see if anything can be done about the axial deadzones on the sticks, although I imagine not.

Would not recommend this gamepad in it's current state!

  2. Hey bro I have a question, I am considering getting either a evil controller, aim controller or a scuf which one should I get? I play shooters like Fortnite and siege

  4. Congratulations on getting 100k dude! I am newish to PC gaming and managed to learn a lot from your channel. I actually bought 2 controllers for myself and my sister and based my decision on 2 of your reviews! (Vader 3 pro and 8bitdo ultimate pro 2) we are quite happy with both and I am still watching your reviews for entertainment purposes. Good luck with the next milestone!

  5. Hi, i just came across your channel while hunting for a new controller, seeing your videos i see that you reaaaally know what you´re talking about, so, ive been playing fighting games for many years and been using ps3 controllers on pc, but im tired of spending money cycling through them and dealing with compatibility and stick drift issues, i would love it if you could recommend a good controller or a few that have the same separated d-pad style that ps3/ps4 has, im really unsure on where to put my money and i just wanna make a good worthwhile purchase ;-; if anybody wants to help that would be great too thanks in advance

  6. congrats on the 100k man you really are the best controller reviewer on yt, I wish you many more years of success cant wait till you hit a mill …no offense vcuda
