Counterfeit stuff can bre seriously Bad News tbh. Touch wood, I haven't caufht with anything Nasty. Stuff like Counterfeit Chain has been easy to spot, and It can be bloody hard finding a genuine Lewmar Delta Anchor. Luckily I've had a genuine one properly hardened and tempered, and when you strike them, they have a very distinctive tone, so could tell when Sailing Teulu bought a nice oversized one, I heard it ring, and could tell it was genuine – held the boat solod at anchor in 50 mph plus winds too. Must admit, I really love the Lewmar Delta Anchors, after experiencing how mine performed in a pretty bad Tornado Storm ❤. A Huge benefit, they will break out sideways when hit really hard. If it hadn't, my boat would have capsized. People tend not to think how beneficial it can be to Fail and Saving the boat because it does fail . Sideways fail only of course. They're basically a Rocna without the Hoop. Would a Rocna have been able to push out sideways with a really powerful Blow ? tbh, I wish I knew, because they are a damned good anchor as well. Nice work on the electrical system and the cooker. It’s always an effort to get round to those sorts of jobs but it makes you feel virtuous once they are complete.😀👍⛵️
