this implies someone wrote a fnaf mpreg story (bunny call's in the flesh) in universe
Carefully picks up theory and adds to pile
This sums up what I've been thinking about the Frights books since Tales has been a hot topic. The fact Tales is a new line entirely means it probably is in canon to games, because Frights just have to be different continuities. Why reboot the short stories if not to tell us they are a new continuity/the game one? Just keep calling them Frights if they were supposed to be this pseudo canon to help explain things from the past (which Frights were pretty much always meant to be based of Scott's posts.)
my theory has always been that MOST stories in frights + tales are often like…urban legends/campfire stories being told in the fnaf universe. especially with frights. glad to see somebody actually explain why that theory could work lol
Finally, am explanation for Faz Goo
damn this was a pretty good theory ngl
I actually made this theory before about the tales books, I may have commented it to one of your videos I doubt I was the first to think that though
I remember MatPat kinda alluding to this idea of the fazbear frights books being sorta incomplete retellings of in-universe events, in-universe like a few years back. Don't know who came-up with the exact "frights fiction" theory tho.
This theory keeps the games as an important source for the lore, I like it.
The idea of Frights being fictional stories in universe could work but I don't think that's what they are supposed to be.
Book characters being referenced on Arcade Machines could be just those characters that belong to the Fazbear's franchise.
The Old Games Lore being just fictional stories based on the True Story of the New Games Lore because Fnaf1-6 is confirmed to exist as games is also a theory with the same propability. I also don't think that's true.
I have reached a point where I have consumed so much theory content that titles like this just fill me with dread but I click anyway just so I don't get lost whenever a theory is inevitably references by another theorist channel
This is a really good theory, wish matpat would react to this.
11 mins in, already convinced, there are too many evidences already lining up
It's not "In Universe" but it's rather a "Pararells" to the video game counterparts.
Except Tales of Pizza Plex, those books are canon to the game.
Also nice art. Good as usual.
The idea that Phone Dude went from a guy that built a haunted house attraction making fun of Freddy’s past into someone who helps rebuild Fazbear Entertainment by making fun of Freddy’s past is probably the best use of a one off character having a role in the modern storyline
This is honestly a really compelling theory
This is a great theory that gives a new spin on things and is quite interesting to ponder
What do you think of Burntrap?
This is my favourite interpretation of the books by far.
But what is the lore meaning of there being a pause before BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
