I find dental tools/picks can be very useful for corrosion removal, also for battery removal and bending the contacts/springs back up.
Was searching for something fun to do with an income attached as I retired from 30 years working in a corporate world. Discovered your channel months ago and was hooked. Now I bid for camera lots from Ebay, Buyee, Mercari and the rest. Do the inspection, cleaning, repairing and sales online. Missed your absence. Did you use the same cloth for cleaning Lens and battery compartment !?
Use a fiberglass brush .or a brass brush
