For those telling me to use my camera, that was the first thing I tried. There's no IR blaster on the back and if there is an IR receiver it would be beside the LED so you would not be able to see anything happening.

Don't look now, you could use a $25 UV5R Baofeng or a $10 SDR dongle to do the same thing. Or compute the harmonics and tune in on one of them with a regular radio.
