Rusty made me forget that Patches was not in this game!
Rusty is simultaneously the nicest guy you’ve ever met and also the coldest motherfucker you’ve ever seen.
I just can’t get over how impressive everything about this mission is. The voice acting, the character interactions, the visuals, the sound design… just a perfect set piece mission in every way.
If I had a nickel for every giant mecha worm with a face like an electric razor, I'd have two nickels.
Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice (Darling in the Franxx)

The Raven fight showed Woolie the best part about this game. If one build doesn't work, try a different one.
It's funny how much of a difference changing your setup can make. There's a lot of people that been playing this game on their own streams that smash full on into the wall not changing their builds out of spite.
Woolie is learning, and we love it.

I love how, slowly throughout time with the different AC games, "Raven" went from being the general title used by mercenaries that pilot Armored Cores to a title reserved for essentially legends
By the way, you DID fight the original Raven from the Trailers, Nightfall. How they got scrapped at the crater with the PCA Helicopter in the tutorial is anyone's guess though.

This is it everyone. The moment where more than ever, you feel like you are the anime protagonist fighting the Season Finale monster. We even got formes foes all sharing a common enemy, odds getting smaller as your allies are forced to retreat, the long drawn out charges of the sniper shots….
What I'm saying is: this is PEak Mecha Fiction, and I'm glad Woolie gets to find out what he's been sleeping on all these years.
I love that moment. It's one of those 'You get to be part of tbe vinematic' moments.
Could someone please remind Woolie again to watch the whole of the weapon videos, he keeps closing them too early time to time when they’re not done. He’s missing out on some really fun stuff because of it. 😩
EDIT: Also Woolie when you look at weapons and missions summaries, please ignore any “downsides” like ammo per shot or repair & ammunition costs. Money is infinite because you can replay old missions for cash. Pat even said he went out and bought every generator, FCS, etc as the game progressed. Allows for max customisation even mid mission if a things might seem tough. Please give it some thought Woolie! 🙏🏻 Good Luck. 🪸
Woolie, you are nowhere near close enough to use Assault Armor. It's practically a close range move.

One criticism of the game's story is that they don't expressly have a pilot escape via ejection until after the Raven mission. It's implied but they kind of assume the player just knows they can eject
And this game at yesterday's game awards won in only one category. Still a niche for video game editors around the world apparently. These votes mean shit but still. You feel a slight bitterness.

I love how Walter just, fiercely defends the reputation/dignity of 621, while using them as a puppet.
Its kind of a nice dichotomy.
Rusty is the true main character and no one can convince me otherwise.
I wanna see him try a dual wield build, dual Ducketts or Sampu can be really fun with a lightweight reverse joint AC and maybe songbirds or a melee to back you up.

They call it an anti-Ice Worm weapon, and two of them were a must have in PvP meta for a month after release if I recall correctly.
It was at this moment I started to realized Rusty may in fact be the best FromSoft waifu
