  1. Hello jason. Pls do a face id repair
I really love watching your videos ever since. Whether if its long or short just do it not just for me and also for your subscriber who supports your channel. Thank u and have a good day.

  2. Hello Jason, i think if you replace the flex with an original one, and replace the proximity sensor / purple dot projector, to the new flex it shoud work, i fixed a few already like that i always replace the flex. Exatcly what you did but new flex.

  3. At 15:55, I would have thought that a light breeze had just ceased to exist… but the fact that it lined up perfectly with the video cut made it easy to decide not to try popping my ears with the jaw thing. Lol.

Dear reader: if that doesn't make sense to you, I envy you

  4. You really make phone repair easy especially with micro soldering. I'd like to ask you, which is easier and difficult for you to repair Android (Samsung or any other brands) or iPhones? I hope you could have a live feed where we could have some Q&A sort of thingy…. BTW if you cover the board and /or components with green liquid mask, will it help make the board a bit of water proof? I REALLY REALLY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!

  5. Hey Jason.

Earlier this year when i was a bitt less expierienced, i messed up a customers face ID while changing the battery on an iphone 11. I was using rubbing alcohol to remove the battery, but it seeped over to the camera area. I believe i messed up either the camera or the dot projector. It was giving the move higher / lower Error.

First I tried to program the dot projector with a Icopy face id board and new flex cable.

it didnt work… I read some comments after the fact that i should have tried mutliple flex cables, because sometimes they dont work.
Here is mobilesentrix dot projector repair video without soldering.

After that didn't work, i figured i woud try to transfer the dot projector chip onto a new flex, but that was too hard of a job, i cracked the dot projector chip trying to remove it from the housing….

I just found right now that 3u Tools has a face ID testing feature that look pretty good!!

  6. Hi Jason always love your videos and they are not just informative also very entertaining. Just a quick suggestion, there is a soldering table where you can hook your solder tip and lay the sensor on it it's cones out like butter

  7. I love the new vids!! Just because of you, i've convinced myself to finally do a repair on an old phone i have laying around. Bought a cheap screwdriver w/ some bits and a low quality hot air station. Replaced a screen on a Samsung Galaxy A22 and it's working great 🙂

Thank you for making these video's as they are entertaining but most importantly very educational.

And to the question i want to see more i'd like to say yes to that!

    Great job you are doing!!

    Greetz 🙂

  8. Love or hate Apple phones, they cram a whole lot of stuff in there. Must be a whole lot if Tetris players in the design studio working out how to fit things together. Liking this variation in full on board repair to the jibs like this one. Giving me a deep appreciation of the skill this type of repair requires.

  9. I'm curious how allegedly 'liquid proof' those things were in the first place! man.. though, to think little soda (pop) may have splashed on the earpiece and nuked it – a tiny bit of sugar solids dried up and just ruined that sensor.. the fragility of these phones.. I have a oneplus 10 pro (had the 8 for years, the wife has that one now) and .. i'm not going to dare say it's indestructible because if I do I'll surely be calling my insurance co. later tonight, but my phones have seen some things and they all work just fine. No cracked screens, no broken back glass.. I dunno.. OnePlus make a halfway decent phone – for half the cost of a name brand flagship! My brother picked up the new 'Open' on release day, and man that phone or phablet or whatever you'd call it – well it's a fold, man that things is absolutely gorgeous. Oppo and OnePlus have really hit one out of the park.. I can't wait for the 12, I'm a big fan of wireless charging and the 11 didn't offer it.. I think the 12 is going to again.. I hope so!! Great work Jason, thanks for slamming us with all these videos lately!!

  10. For sure we want to see the next stage. I can't see it being harder than doing bios in modern laptops, ie, pull the old bios/bios-es, get the ids, code then into a fresh new bios, and reload to chip again.

  11. One question aside: I'm wondering, hoe Apple can glue the CPU to the board?A blob of glue wouldn't work (IMHO), because it will isolate the balls.A sheet of glue with holes for the balls? Any idea?
