  1. I finished this game 3 times way back in the day with a crappy N64 controller. I returned to it like 10 years later and was amazed how crappy the controls were. I couldn't believe I beat this game easily the first time around, but struggled the second time with a better N64 controller.

  2. I'm 40 and I played it as they came out after releases. It was a different age. When I play a SW game today, most of the time it doesn't feel Star Wars anymore, because they keep persisting in ditching the original trilogy behind, or the feel of it. Trying to be standalone or new. Without Factor 5 and Lucas Games ingenuity, and with Disney making the decisions, I can honestly say that special thing is dead.

  3. Shadows had it's crust, must admit, but boy I enjoyed beating that game; specially when you consider their way of endings based on difficulty lvl.
I remember going back at it, after some years, trying to get the true ending (and discovering Dash's fate after the battle).

  4. Rogue Squadron was one of those games that I wanted the most. I remember my dad renting it for me every time we went to Blockbuster. The one we rented had all of the star-fighters unlocked including the Naboo fighter. I loved that game. I also thought Racers was called Pod Racers so you aren’t the only one. I never had this either but I would play it at the mall while my mom was shopping. I remember liking it at the time.

  5. "Entering cheat codes we unlock 3 bonus levels"
Well yes, that's one way to do it. The intended way is for you to get all the medals for the missions. Bronze on all unlocks the first bonus level, silver on all unlocks the second and gold on all unlocks the third.

  6. you did forget to mention in the rogue squadron section that the x-wing and millenium falcon both have repair drones, for slow but essential auto repairs assuming you havent taken too much damage

  7. I forgot how curious I was about the controllers. They looked very strange but they worked good. I remember thinking Daggerfall could be played on the N64 controllers and wasn't surprised when Morrowind was on console.
