Cameras of this type were used at school for photographing an annual panoramic portrait of everybody. There was always one sporty "volunteer" allocated, with tacit approval of the teachers, the task of standing at the start end of the group, then sprinting around the back to the other end so that they would appear twice. It usually worked.
I wanted to get into the panoramic system and I was looking to get a bronica with 6×6 backs and 135W panoramic back. That dream quickly faded when I found out that the 135W are more expensive than couple of camera bodies. Would've been a great system from what I've seen in videos and pictures.
Hmm. I want to see someone walking through the shot with the lens tracking them…..okay so you crab walked; close enough lol
