i’ve changed 3x iphones 15 pro max all have some sort of audio crackilng at max volume in Spotify and Youtube but whats also more annoying its the ios 17 that has loads of pre caching shader compilation lags even in easy task games like temple run and subway surfer

Dang Apple is just getting this. My Samsung has been having this for years. They do it with their tablets, earbuds, and watches. Apple is late and boring on everything.
This is also really handy or selling or buying used devices. Is there any drawback to this? I'm thinking along the lines of limited number of uses, potential data loss from any of the tests, or the tests putting strain/wear on physical components?

you dont need to be on the same wifi you can just use a vpn on your pc and use it in other country xd

It's region locked. I just tried it and it says that this feature isn't supported in my region (France)
Very interesting that aasp’s need a special dock for the audio test but nothing is required in this suite of tests.

Question: how can I enter self diagnostics mode when my lightning connector isn’t working anymore? Does a magsafe charger also work? Or does it have to be the physical bottom connector? Cause that’s stuck at mine, it only charges via magsafe
