Excellent explanation of each step and required kit needed!
Thanks, my friend, NOTHING FAKE IN THIS VIDEO! HATERS GONNA HATE, I'm afraid, Sir 🙏🏻
would this work on bird s@ite
Extremely interesting to see. I don’t change my cars often but it’s nice to know.
Great vid, but how long were you allowing for the finger applied paint to dry, before cutting it back?
Someones had a right go at both my rear arches. Passenger side likely bushes but drivers side i have no clue 😂
Deffo going to be giving this a go. Is a machine polisher too agressive for this?
Thanks for sharing… Do you think this would work using the paint from a typical 'touch-up' pen?
Brilliant video, Im off to buy some cutting paste, A BIG thank you
How long do you wait before polishing off the excess paint after applying?
This is an awesome repair ! I assume the panel needs to be cleaned and degreased before hand ? and after you smear the paint, do you need to wait for it to dry ?
would have cost you about 100 odd to fix that in body repair shop, well done! Thanks for sharing.
You should have wiped the area clean before the paint repair.
This is brilliant, I am like most people watching this are scared of buying the wrong pads and over working the paint. In effect making it worse.
Could you maybe do a clip on the correct pads and so reassurance that we can do this.
Also I have a 2 year old Block Grey T6.1 the sliding door protrudes a few millimetres, washed it after Xmas and the corner of the door is bare metal.
Can I drop it off to you please 🙏🏼
This looks easier than polishing by hand! Can't wait to try it.
No way! Subscribed, love simple car hacks like this. Gimme that drill buffing disk link pls 😉
Finally a drill attachment I'll actually use haha. Thanks for the tip!
Worth a shot I guess, my paint's already trashed. Nice beard bro!
No f'n way!! Def trying this tonight, you're a legend if it works CVR POV
Finally found a DIY car channel that doesn't drag on for 20 mins, thanks man!
Nice tutorial, gonna have to try this method on my scratched up ride. Always looking for new ways to tune up my car without breaking the bank.
Great video! I like the results from using a drill instead of spending a ton at the body shop. Gonna have to give tunedbyai a shot too for new design ideas.
How long should i wait after i apply paint? Thanks
Mate, I've followed your account for a long time now and, as a novice repairer on my vehicles and family vehicles, your tips and quality of work has helped me immeasurably. Those that criticise you are only envious of you so, bugger those that are critical, bring on the enthusiasts. 🇦🇺 from you Aussie friends.
Fantastic bro, Thanks you so much from South Africa
New to your channel. Enjoyed it. I've been a mechanic and car flipper for 45 years. I do exactly this when I refurbished a vehicle paint. But I always a dewaxing. I feel like any residual wax/polish will hinder the he ability of the paint adhering properly. I learned so much the hard way, nothing like U-Tube then. With all the fantastic channels here there's no reason why anyone can maintain their vehicles and make them last forever ! Great job. Thank you.
I suppose it's single stage paint. Came out good.
I do wonder how much of the scratch would've color sanded & buffed away… 🤔
Great job, how would you do this for a pearl paint?
Looks great. I have some scuffs on my front bumper I’m going to give it a go soon as the weather gets warmer thanks
Nice job. Cheers and thanks.
Nice work 😊🎶👍
Amazing
Excellent work.
how long did you left the paint 2 dry
Hi mate great job and info
So just to ask the idea is to not let the paint dry to much
Cheers pal
Excellent video😊
Can you use a mains powered drill or is it too fast?
Sad that you need to have rant about negative comments doing great job 👏 thank you
Excellent job dude 😊
I'm glad I found your video, I some repair to make like this on a door.
Thank you.
Hi there, great tip. Just a question? Was any hardener added to the solvent based paint for the touch up ? Many thanks
I just came across this. Interesting. I’m going to see if I can get good at this. Not only for myself. But to help friends and family out.
Great work! Anyway to repair small spots in paint from acid splatter? Four small spots that are smooth to the touch but faded half the size of a pencil eraser? Battery top exploded.
Hi, great video thank you. Sorry if I missed it in the commentary (I did try rechecking), I assume you let the paint fully dry? I ask because it is a quick real time video, seems quick. Sorry, just for clarity it is a genuine question, not knocking you as the expert. I'm merely a keen DIYer. Thanks
That is a very neat trick! Thanks for sharing 👍
Love your videos. 3 questions. What is the grade of the pad? How much pressure do you use? What is the speed setting for the drill?
Great work, ignore the keyboard warriors dude, they're idiots, keep it up!
That was amazing. Thanks for the tip.
You did it looks so so easy to fix a scratch mark with really really good results
