  1. Finally got some new things up on the store over the week.
Keep an eye out on the YouTube community tab over the next few days as I will be looking for some input from my viewers as I plan to make some changes to my content and possibly upload schedule.

  2. On the Samsung trying to be Apple thing, I recently went to the Highpoint Apple store to have them do something about the broken rear mic on my 15 Pro Max (which they covered under warranty and had replaced the rear-glass assembly within 2 hours), and I noticed across from Apple and one floor down was a dedicated Samsung store, and it looked just like the Apple store but 1/4 the size and with less people inside. It was actually kind of funny.

  3. Hi Hugh,

Your battery was hard to remove because you've pulled the whole adhesive. You need to take off the pull tab AND the rest of adhesive. I've already repaired some s23 series and the battery was way easier thanks to the pull tab. Just need to do like on huawei batteries with "A" and "B" to remove (you need to peel of the B sides before pull on the A)

  4. Apple could, but they dont want to, because Apple gives a duck about repairability: Iphones, compared to other smartphone brands are designed complicated as duck, because they dont want you to repair it. same for repair prices, apple repairs almost nothing compared to other companies and the costs are INSANELY HIGH (except battery) if you dont have apple care plus. 339 Euros in 2024 for an Iphone X screen replacement. madness.

  5. My phone still use android 10.
I'm planning to upgrade phone this year but right now im using an oppo f9. I also have samsung note 9 which also use android 10, one ui 2 is my most favorite one ui in samsung but the latest one looks very nice

  6. Jerry rig everything took apart Samsung S24 ultra with the pull tap quoting it was "Amazingly easy to remove" at 3:15 .

To me it seems like you don't have the brutal force to undo one battery. And as I have seen videos of you and Jerry rig everything. Let's just say, he has more muscle mass. To complain about the batteries adhesive being too strong, maybe it's just you.

  7. Am i the only one who does not mind if a phone does not change in the outside like at all, if it looks okay? Samsung's current design is just looks natural/unoffensive, and if i want to make it look more unique, ill just get a case for it with the intended look. As long as its not straight up ugly, like the s20 was with that terrible camera array, i dont care if it looks the same every year.

  8. IsnтАЩt using outdated software without security updates an issue? For example your data protection etc. If not, I'll keep my phone as long as possible.

  9. I've always been curious – why are they gluing the batteries in the first place? What benefit is there or what necessity? I can imagine it might be risky for the battery to rattle but this can be easily alleviated with some cushioning. Why the glue and why so strong?

  10. Is Hugh a dumbass there seems to be 'A' and 'C' labels (can't see the 'B' label tho) besides the battery indicating which plastic needs to be removed before pulling the battery. The plastic labelled 'A' was not removed and held the battery from the left.
