  2. Just another example of fake journalists attempting to be relevant. It is actually quite sad how far down the rabbit hole to false info for clicks they have gone. As a journalist myself that still reports by the old code, I feel like part of a dieing breed.

  3. game journalists need hype too, they are just fake news for the most part because they need to be, in order to be noticed in the sea of game journalists so they will contort headlines to get the first official visit to their site. filthy practice but I understand why.

  4. Let be real here, the entire drama about Nintendo suing is driven by idiots, Idiots with Social media/Journalism clout feeding other idiots. They might aswel be Flat Earthers.

  5. I'm one of those people who took a break from PalWorld for Helldivers 2. Both have about the same amount of content and game loops are both addictive. HD2 has really great game feel similar to PW butg with better explosions. Looking forward to more PalWorld content though!

  6. Some people risk their lives reporting from warzones and investigating corrupt politicians, and then others farm clicks by spreading misinformation. The fact that both are called journalists is depressing.

  7. It doesn't work on xbox it doesn't run properly the game doesn't save properly the graphics look really bad it makes me think that I should just go to PC and maybe thats why people are leaving the game and that's why you've had a 1.9 million drop is probably people are leaving from console….

  8. It's not a live service game… It's a EA game still in development. Why would it retain players past it's play through time? Everyone bought it at once, everyone is done at once.

It doesn't have PvP and the base building is a placeholder, both of which tend to keep people around longer. It's drop is expected. Most will be back in a year or so.

A game doesn't need to be played for 6+ months in order to be a great game.

  9. Is this about TheGamingBible article? Because they didn't hit upon some new news, hell if you search online there's no new news about Nintendo regarding Palworld. What TheGamingBible did though is rehash weeks-old news articles and spun it off as if it was new: note how many of the quoted lines on their article are lifted straight out of the original statement regarding Palworld, especially the "taking action" and so on.

This isn't new information, TheGamingBible is just late to the party.

As many people have already mentioned, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are notorious for being preternaturally quick to the draw when it comes to bringing down the hammer on anything they perceive as infringing on Pokemon, to the extent that fan games that haven't even released yet get taken down ASAP. And yet people would have us believe that they somehow let Palworld, which has been openly promoted for 3 years now, get released to the public? If they had a case, they would've done it years ago.

  10. This game has completely taken all the unhappy ARK fans and made their YEAR. It will be interesting to see if this game can be dethroned in the next couple years by anyone.

Congratulations to Palworld on all it's success.

  11. What some dumb fucks missed is that the Nintendo CEO saying, "We will take appropriate action against those that infringe out intellectual property rights," is not the same as "They have infringed our rights and appropriate action will be taken." All the CEO said was if someone messes with our stuff, we will take action against them.

  12. I stopped playing but I need to PREFACE it’s not because I dislike the game but more so just have so many games I’ve downloaded lately. I plan to come back to pal world soon. I’d actually say Pal World is my GOTY for 2024 and is a solid 9/10 or 10/10 🙂

  13. Game is fine. There is lot of things to do but unfortunately it gets repetitive. I think that is the problem.

Maybe if I they add more random elements or something in the game so people stay and play..

What is funny. Nintendo know this game development start 5 years ago and they didnt even shudder their shoulders back then so why they should now?

  14. quit literally, i have seen so many players, including my own friends, obsess over this game, playing 12 to 14 hours a day… they have beaten it, and are waiting for new content. I can only imagine the drop off is due to the same thing, so many players eat slept and breathed this game till they beat it, starving for more…

  15. The Palworld community I join has a own paid server which is on hardmode. We find so fun, slowly building our bases, each of our members has different pace of advancement because of IRL things to do, I spent around 5hrs a day, slowly building my base. We talk on discord and someone will call if they saw your Pals starving to death lol. Sometimes hacker got in the server and destroy our bases good thing we always have backup of backup to restore our game.

  16. 9:21 sounds like a take made by a diehard salty pokémon fan who refuses to try out or even watch footage of palworld. notice how he refuses to even acknowledge that palworld is good and instead calls it a “viral game” as if it were the next Flappy Bird or Temple Run. I seriously don’t get how people can defend creatively and morally bankrupt companies like Nintendo and Game Freak.

  17. People are stupid, and GARME JURNOLISPS are worse. If Nintendo and Pokemon thought they had the legal standing to crush Pocktpair and Palworld, they'd have gone public with it already.

The entire false narrative is just BS being spewed by smoothbrained Poke-fans up in arms over their holies of holies being outdone by and upstart in its own genre. Throw enough shit in the fire, and the smoke get the attention of all the algorithms that run online media to make an explosion of bullshit in an attempt to cancel whatever the screeching hordes don't like.

  18. Games in alpha, that are survivor based, lose 50 percent, after a few weeks. They sold over 20 million copies at 30 bucks USD. They made their cost and much much much more.

  19. The game is still in early access as it develops and as long as it is able to be finished many of those players will be back. A lot probably will anyway even if it isn’t finished as long as it stays available.

  20. I saw that Reddit post & reported it, didn't have any reference links (which are required on that sub) & seemed to be just some jack arse who googled copyright law and posted their opinion to the thread like it was absolute fact. As for Gaming Bible I stopped following them years ago exactly because of this kind of crap, they have zero legitimacy & have become notorious for over the top hyper drama clickbait. They always exaggerate, take things wildly out of context & even out right made stuff up.
