  1. Your mouse’s lazer is skipping and the speed of it is set too high. Those things together are creating the stilted feel of your monitor. It is not the game. If you had different mouse settings or used a controller, would have felt fine.

  2. I honestly was expecting a dark game with more violence and one that capture the brutality of the pirate sea but this is straight disappointing, keep hiring mediocre people to make your games Ubisoft

  3. I wanted this game to be good and really gave it a chance but it’s just not good or fun. Very clanky. I am a piratophile and have a low bar for fun in this genre but hey just plain blew it. I will not be buying it

  4. So this is supposed to be an "AAAA" game? This at quality, gameplay, graphics, is not even at 10% of RDR2's level. Press F for the idiots paying 60-70$ for this game.

  5. What a horrible game, cant believe that they call this a beta, game crashes within 30 minutes everytime and basically its a sailing game-shoot shit-upgrade and thats about it. UBI should be ashamed to having made this.

  6. we all went into this cold(I love playing Odyssey) & i wasted so much time trying to find my 1st weapon! it's different than Black Flag or Odyssey but i ran out of 6 hrs. i like this game, i watched youtube videos of "how to play Skull and Bones beta" when i had 15 minutes of 6 hrs game play left. don't be like me! lol

  7. I wanted the game to succeed in capturing the lore and thrill of being a Pirate, to be able to explore the islands for buried treasure. Board ships like in black flag and capture the crew and recruit them. I was hoping it'd be at least as good as Black Flag and Atlas. Atlas never really took off especially on console. In atlas you got to dive down to the depths of the ocean to look for sunken treasure. Recently reinstalled Atlas the graphics for it have gone to crap.. otherwise I'd just play that. Naval combat was alright, ship handling was ridiculous the ships turn way too quick. Graphics are decent but even the best graphics without depth the game isnt worth more than like $30.

  8. I tried it for an hour or so and … wow this is terrible. I hoped for an improved Black Flag, which was what they set out to do and they had such an easy template for success, yet somehow it's worse in every way! It also doesn't help that somehow it seems like they mushed the corpse of an old MMO into this trash heap.
In development since 2013 btw, so of course everything looks outdated and nothing finished on top of it all.

  9. Terrible game and canceled purchase. In short, an extremely limited Blag Flag in which there is no game dynamic. The freedom of movement of the character (very rough by the way, since there seems to be a synchronization problem between the torso and the movement and direction of his legs) only translates to port places or shops. You cannot board enemy ships with your own hands, you cannot see the interior of your ship, you cannot tour its decks and holds, nor visit the captain's own cabin (as if AC IV could be done), nor interact with anything, which that reduces your ship to being another skin of the mapping that you use for combat and that does not establish any link between captain and ship. In short, you cannot interact with the ship itself in a game that is about that…. Which relegates it to being a very arcadey third-person ship battle game, with animations worthy of a game for mobile devices (you can shoot at angles of 60 degrees but the artillery pieces only point forward and the projectile comes out crooked……). Naval battles are just a matter of course, there will be those who like it and those who don't, but if what they intended was to make a game with this theme based on Blag Flag, I'm sorry to say that the 2013 game gave this monstrosity a tremendous overhaul. . . Nowadays the only thing people pay attention to is how beautiful the graphics are, leaving the quality of the games in the background.

  10. I find it funny just how many people are shitting on this game. After having played ~10hrs of the beta, I can say that I think (again just my personal opinion) that it’s actually a pretty good game. Sure the early game (especially before you have an actual boat) is boring as hell, but not only does it get better and new content gets unlocked later, but I’m sure the full release will make it at least a little more engaging and will add a lot more overall content. There’s also no micro transactions yet, but I wouldn’t be mad if they have a cosmetic shop like sea of thieves (I mean come, it’s a live service game, they have to continue to turn a profit after release if they’re still developing it)

  11. Came for gameplay and just kinda skipped through the whole thing. The Game looks tremendously boring. If i wanted to just fight ships. I could just play black flag or odyssey. Hard pass just go to ps plus jail.
