Can you run windows on one drive and Lennox on another drive? I just picked up an HP Oman 17 and I would like to put Linux on it on a separate drive

I’m stuck in Bios after my laptop deleted its own Os what do I do
I solved the problem. I installed Linux Mint 20.2 it booted petfect than used the mint upgrader to updrade to the latest version and i boits perfect.

Thank you very much for the great info. I installed LMDE6 (debian 12) and had this exact problem on my old HP ProBook 640. Annoying. But your info got me over the hump. Now it books right into LMDE, just like it was supposed to. In my case the custom boot path was EFidebiangrubx64.efi. It found the boot image and started working without manual intervention.

i wanted to upgrade from windows 10 to linux but the files were corrupted and i just broke my laptop then i tried what you said but now it wont even boot up what should i do
I don't have the option for a custom boot in my BIOS settings
God HP's are such garbage computers. Never had one that didn't have a million issues.

You saved me dude thank you , my problem was diffrent ; after installed ubuntu server my pc won't be boot ubuntu or win 10 , the problem is UEFI mode I was used UEFI hybrid which is not good I just changed and it's working now , thank you again bro
