  1. Owen would like single track trails on XC or Trail bike. He might even like emtb. I was interested in seeing the presenters ride difficult trails at first, but most of us actually ride single track or XC like trails. Most of us don’t ride DH or gnarly stuff. Owen can represent us normal riders.

  2. For the dude that wants the tubeless set up, dont do it! People dont realise the hassle that tubeless is! Not to mention the money you have to spend for the setup and to maintain it. For the avarage "joe" who doesnt have the time, or rides the bike every now and then, just use Tannus Armour with your tubes! This is a much more efficient set up than tubeless is hassle free. Add it and forget about it!!

  3. Banning a new technologies in racing will cause stop a mountainbiking evolution. This idea sound like a cry of the weakest: „oh no, actually I can’t win because someone got better bike than me -> let’s ban it so will have a chance to be a mediocre”. Train hard, bulid sick bikes. Don’t block others with progressing, everyone is hard working

  4. Looks like Rich was slightly less embarrassed about Owen doin the hashtag hand sign. Than on The Dirt Shed Show. When Blake gave my sull sus bike (Pinkeye) a Super Nice. As for the fork question. The weight could possibly be an issue for some people. As for me. I have changed the forks on my other Orbea. I have an Orbea Laufey H30. I have changed the Rock Shox Recon Silver forks with 140mm. To the Rock Shox Domain with 150mm. So not only has the travel gone by 10mm.The stantions have gone up from 32mm to 38mm. Which I did order 2 days before buying Blake'sold bike.

  5. #AskGMBNTech My 4 year old RockShox Deluxe RT is suddenly leaking air for some reason (I drop around 100 PSI after just an hour of riding) and the lock out isn't working anymore as well and I don't have the tools/knowledge to service it on my own. I don't even know whether a simple sealing renewal would fix the problem. So is getting it serviced for 80-120 bucks even still worth it when I can find newer and better RockShox shocks on for example Ebay for around 150/200€ ?

Hey Tech Crew! I was wondering if you could enlighten me on the subject of front hub end cap standards. I learned today about the Rockshox Torque cap vs Fox (regular?) end caps. Is this something that hub/wheel manufacturers just make both versions of to be compatible with most forks? When shopping for wheelsets this is not usually an option like when choosing MS, HG xD, etc. I am building a parts bin bike with a Nukeproof scout frame, a fairly new Rockshox Recon and a new set of Crank Bros. Synthesis wheels. They have the smaller (Fox?) end cap. It fits in the fork with the Maxle nice and snug, just bothers me to see the empty space there where the Rockshox is machined out for the larger diameter Torque Cap. It does makes lining up the axle a bit more difficult, but it seems like it would ride just fine. Is there any other performance benefit to hunting down the Torque cap that would fit this wheel (if it exists).
Also, regarding tubeless sealant, I treat it like food expiration dates, just a recommendation, probably good for much longer than you think, just go with your nose! Love the show. Thanks and Happy Trails,
    Nathan from Kentucky, USA

  7. Yes prototype bike should be allowed but it depends is it a spec series or is it an open series? If it's open then yes if it's Spec then obviously no. You could make the argument that some top name brands are prototypes but just homologated because they sell a shit ton of them. The key is to Define prototype. And not just by if it's available to the general public and how many sales were made. That's complete bullshit. Set parameters and Define prototype before Banning them or allowing them.

  8. #AskGMBNTech Im searching for used enduro bies bit should I actively avoid dampers with a rubber bladder like the charger 2.1. because i have heard the rubber can break. How common is this to happen? And is a damper that doesnt use a rubber bladder then not prone to breaking as often?

  9. Did’nt watch video- comments were more entertaining – anybody taken a top fuel dragster or f1 or group b or wtf a roadie hill climb to the shops for a pint of milk – GTMBCN whatever you are get some new ideas – oh and tubeless currently sucks………..still how hard is it to adopt nd manufacture to a standard (fight fight fight)

  10. #AskGMBNTech So as the last snow is melting where I live and riding is soon to begin. When checking the sealant in my tires, do I just check to see if there the sealant is still liquid? Or should I completely refresh the sealant? If so, then how can I dispose of the old sealant?

  11. Thx duuudes for that one. Was very nice to watch! Think Owen is such a funny and cool guy, would love to see him out on the trails, maybe even on the next presenters challenge… 😎💪👌💚

  12. I think the issue with the Pivot bike is its purely a build for racing with no intention of selling or using the tech from it. It isn't testing tech for their customer bikes from what I understand?

  13. Dont forget you can buy sealants such as ‘tyre yoghurt’ that actually lasts as long as the tyre!!! I had sealant in for a year and I changed my tyres and the sealant was absolutely fine!
