  1. this is how all Bluetooth speakers and earbuds should be, let alone mobile phones

the price is a little steep, though, not going to lie, I wonder how much the batteries will eventually cost to replace, rechargeable cell batteries aren't exactly cheap

  2. Don’t tarnish your rating system. If parts are glued together, then they shouldn’t get a 10. I can’t buy that glue off the shelf and not everyone has a heat gun or even a hair dryer. 10 out of 10 should convey that replacing parts it’s as easy as swapping out a CPU in a desktop. If something as delicate and intricate as a mechanical watch can be made to function 50M under water without glue then electronics can too.

  3. 9.5 out of 10. IMO if you need a heat gun to get into something, that should knock points. and unsure if you will need replacement adhesive strips to put it back together correctly. Otherwise, yeah I agree with this rating.

  4. The buds’ battery replacement is really next level, like wireless earbuds- Re-imagined. You can not just replace the batteries when they wear out in a few years, you can actually hot swap them when you run out of power, instead of having to put the buds back into the case for 5 to 15 minutes.
Unfortunately, the case’s battery is less easy to replace. You need a screwdriver for that, prohibiting hot swapping (unless you always carry a screwdriver). I think the bottom cover should be designed to be able to pried open tool-less, like the back cover of the FairPhone.

  5. It is disappointing that they do not ship to the US. I would gladly pay more to have them shipped here, and even forgo a warranty if it meant that I could by a product that pushes repair-ability and sustainable manufacturing. Unfortunately, we in the US are left out.

  6. This is how earbuds should be designed, and I'd probably buy these in an instant to get good durability and repairability. The batteries being easily replaceable is a huge plus.
