And the EVangelicals will still say this is propaganda spread by ‘Big Oil’ 😂
I drive a 16 year old Toyota Corolla so I was not so shocked that one of the coils burnt out last week. I had the mechanic replace all 4 coils for future reliability. It cost about A$560.00 for the repair. As you know under our current scumbag Prime Minister Albosleasy the Australian dollar is worth nothing when buying parts from Japan. It sounds like I got off lightly compared to the repairs on an E.V. But then again I doubt that I would get more than 10 years before I would have to junk an E.V. With proper maintenance I am expecting to get another 10 years of trouble free motoring out of my Corolla.
My Zoe also needed heater to be fixed, this is the part which preheat the air for the heatpump. The part was 1500 euros and labour 500 euros, 2000 total, but warranty took care of that.
And we call this progress?
Fast fashion is another good thing to save the world. Bloody stupid 'visionary world leaders' just lead us by the nose
What comes to mind when you see someone driving an EV or still wearing a face mask? Do you see a virtue-signalling idiot with a family and more money to burn than common sense, or do you see what I see? I see an extremely dangerous victim of Fascist State mind control propaganda. I see a concentration camp officer gleefully tipping Zyclon B down an air vent, and so should you. Call me old-fashioned if you wish, but half of my mother's family received the shower treatment not so long ago. If you seriously believe that evil left this world on the 30th of April 1945, then think again. This kind of thinking never went away, At most, it just brushed itself down, dumped the smart uniforms, adapted its rhetoric, and swiftly moved on to greater things.
But people still think Musk is great!
If you luckily sell your 3 or 4 year old Renault EV, buy a petrol car replacement.
No brainer!
It's perfectly simple. By 2030 you'll own nothing (And alledgedly be happy with it). EVs are a scam to keep you perpetually paying for something you'll likely never own, whilst lining the pockets of the car industrialists and ultimately the W orld E comonic F orum. Even my local Skoda dealer laughed at me when I wanted to know how much to buy my car outright – "nobody 'BUYS' cars these days sir, they're leased then given back for the next model once the battery's ruined"
Ownership is freedom, and the elites don't like that…
Looks like by prodding around they ended up peeing off the dealer.
Calling customer service and asking questions hits a nerve with the dealers in a way customers will never understand they get very bitter and spiteful over it because as a franchise it makes them look really bad and they get in trouble for it from the people they get the franchise from. That's when they start to slap you in the face with huge bills and the rough treatment. They kind of get personal and are aiming to give you a scare and sleepless nights. I'm going on right?
But I only say this stuff because it's true it's like the dark arts of the dealer industry. I worked in many of them and very few of them are honest and decent etc and have courtesy and morals in regards to the treatment of people, co-workers and customers.
I worked for mitsubishi too I was surprised that they haven't been higher because the guys are good there and know the cars well now. They are less known so they can operate quietly and efficiently building that reputation. I've always been big on Mitsubishi and Toyota so I'm vindicated on my personal deeper experience.
EVs are crap.
This is why I would still only buy a Toyota EV because they wouldn't rip the customer off on parts to this level. Plus I know how the cars are made so they are still repairable in the same way as the hybrid and petrol cars. The modules look accessible and straightforward to replace when you see the exploded diagram of the car or an exposed car.
Always keep in mind that Renault and other legacy automakers lose margins on their cars if drivers switch away from ICE, so have a vested interest in making compliance EVs that are intended to fail and cost so much to repair that you'll beg to go back to their legacy products.. ditto garages that need to plug the shortfall in oil changes and other ICE-related maintenance jobs so quote over the odds for EV repairs as a disincentive.
1: Are freaking stupid to buy a French car? There are three ways of doing anything. The right way, the wrong way, and the French way.
2: In a normal car heat is a by-product of the engine. In an EV you need to make heat. I wonder if that is taken into account when battery mileage is calculated. Anyway, who in Europe needs a heater?
Main dealer scam.. take it to an independent and get it repaired properly
Treat as a fine for being daft enough of buying into this EV clean Scam. Only Muppets charge into buying new crap just to show off.
Its coming!!! Have you been miss sold an EV!! Or should it say, were you thick enough to buy one??
FATHER CHRISTMAS HAS STUCK WITH RUDOLPH FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS
LETS HOPE HE DOESN'T SWAP HM FOR A EV
Surely keeping an old car on the road is better for the environment
Look at the amount of damage to the environment digging up earth for batteries then the amount of barrels of oil to manufacture it
Keeping an old car on the road must be better for the environment
I had a compressor fail on a Renault Kangoo just out of warranty. I took the chance with the matrix in the dashboard and had the rest of the components changed. Under a grand. Works perfectly. I'd imagine its probably preety much the same system beyond the drive for the compressor…
Always said that about EV when they break who fixes it
Who takes their out of warranty car to the dealer? Plenty of ev garages out there that can help.
my daughters 15 plate focus written off for a rear bumper crack (if even that, paint crack from flexing plastic) and a dent around the badge… they reckon 12.5k to repair …
