That tarp is a great idea and looks very realistic
#295 and I'm STILL taking notes and getting great tips! Really cool concept and you finished it beautifully, as always. Great stuff Andrew.
looks positively interesting. like it started out as one of these "Will it run?" videos, then turned into something roadworthy by swapping out bad parts for slightly better ones until it doesn't look like it spent 30 years behidn the house anymore. that explains the new seats, because the old ones were long since rotted away (don't ask what we found!). 🙂
love it. ^^
Another amazing job! Every build you seem to have new tricks up your sleeve! It's definitely coffee time!☕
Outstanding build! This really came out amazing!
Great job Andrew 👍🏻
Verry cool. I never saw the „rust“ decals. I like them!
I hope you have a great trip.
Amazing build, as always. So clever the ways you weathered the casting, and the decal idea was brilliant. Pictures of rust! Outstanding! Your cellophane tarp underlayment was smart as well, I’ve taken to use my wife’s super clingy cling wrap to help with passing, it keeps me from having to have so much tape touch the paint, and really works well with the tape only helping to set the edge. I’m looking forward to seeing all the photos of the other submissions, I submitted one for my first group build ever. Thanks so much for my Sunday morning fix! Oh, and by the way, tons of muscle on my couldesac growing up, there was a Barracuda and a Mustang Mach II (I think) two doors down, a beautiful mustang across the street as well, and a Challenger down the street too. Dad had a Bug and a VW bus, I was always a little jealous… cheers and thanks!
Andrew, I love how you evolve your approach to builds, adding new concepts and taking viewer suggestions like molding the tarp over the plastic-protected casting. Very inspiring and just the kind of beaut you'd see rumbling up and down the block to see if the timing chain is in its place. What a great build and video. I'm loving those cold opens!
That’s an awesome build Andrew. Great tip about the tarp. Might have to try it. All the work you put into the Rustoration of this car is amazing 😎
