You don't get it, MS will sell XBOX to Amazon and Gamepass lives on their LUNA servers
Sony don't have a streaming service they are using Microsofts severs not xcloud servers but Microsofts it's completely different severs Microsoft has everyone coming to them for gaming there not playing anymore they waited until there games where ready to launch now they will not be able to be stopped they have first party games every year going foward and it will be at least 4 a year sometimes more and there not done buying once ftc gives up xbox will buy more studios not another publisher but studios by themselves that way goverment stays out of it to all the idiots saying xbox is dead ur stupid this just gave them 200 millon more players over night and there hard at work on next console which launchs next year people think its coming 2026 but it will come 2025 that way sony puts on pro xbox puts out next gen beside it ps5 pro will be outdated at launch and sony wont beable to launch ps6 for at 3 years after pro because they have to make some of they money back sony was playing checkers phil chess
Luna was dieing so Amazon had to do something to stay in gaming so this helps them stay in and also gives Xbox a cheap cloud gaming device
How does this help me as a series x owner . Why are peope so fake excited about streaming stadia already failed. People happy about this and Xbox can't even get black myth or a capcom collection on Xbox. Like what really going on. No one gonna use this to play games . Sarah Bond already said people just stream to test a game not play it .

The $49.99 thing is a tad disingenuous as you'll need a controller, so add the cost of that as well. That you can get a Firestick 4K Max AND controller for under $100 though seems to expose MS's inability to create and produce hardware at competitive prices.
I've just ordered a 4K Max stick which I'll leave at my sister's place several hours away. makes a lot more sense than dragging my Series S (plus the awesome X-Screen) with me every time I visit.

I've been Xbox from day one and still have my OG Xbox now and Xbox is on life support and the Series X is the worst console, I've ever bought, there are no games for it and I don't see the point in owning one, It is pure shit, I miss playing good games and this console generation is the worst of all time, my series X is just an Atari Jaguar on steroids, oh look we have loads of power but we don't have any games to play on it lol
People aren't going to start playing games just because it's on their streaming device/TV. You have to remember that most people aren't interested in playing video games at all. What you end up risking is losing console sales from your core players. Cloud gaming is wishful thinking and corporate hype.

Actually they have been winning in the console wars X1TheGamer!? At least they were smart enough NOT to do mid gen consoles like money hungry piece of trash Sony Ponies did. And they'll always be the stupid my little baby ponies buying their stupid garbage. It's not the first time that Failstation has failed in one of their most BS accessories in the market like the VR, do you remember about how unsuccessful that PS move was for the PS3? Cuz it got outsold by Xbox kinect! Lol, it's funny how they keep insisting that their consoles are way better and more powerful than the Xbox consoles. When the evidence has always been that the Xbox consoles were built to be better in a lot more specs and more powerful than POS Failstation!! Why do you think they had to make garbage mid gen consoles in the first place! Think about that

Well Meta has had Luna which is their Cloud gaming service, even though it has never caught on to a large user base. So I guess we'll be hearing about Luna shutting down pretty soon because who is going to buy games going forward with Luna if they can move over their existing Microsoft Cloud library and select from a much larger selection of games there and then excess them of them from one launcher. Like what Steam launcher is for PC, Microsoft cloud launcher will be for streaming devices. BTW, Microsoft is going to also offer Meta Quests VR games on Xbox and PC Cloud via Meta OS they just announced coming soon, since there is no competition for Microsoft since they don't offer VR games themselves. So Meta gets access to Microsoft customers for VR games while Microsoft gets access to Meta customers with streaming devices but no Xbox or PC to offer game pass cloud; win-win for both.
Native gaming will always be better. And you ask what is PlayStation and Nintendo doing? Well, they're not just focusing on continuing to do native gaming but actually produce good games instead of obsessing on the delivery. PlayStation and Nintendo are the future, not cloud gaming with Xbox and Amazon.
I don't even care if cloud gaming was seamless and perfect. I want to own my games and I don't want to pay subscriptions to play my games. What a ridiculous model I can't believe anybody would even for a moment consider such a money grabbing non-ownership world.
If only game pass pc was made available via cloud gaming. For now, I don't care about console cloud gaming since I have consoles for that. What I don't have (and miss having) is a game rig. Maybe someday.
