A week or so ago I bought this 70 Chevelle for a SMOKIN’ deal off marketplace. I didn’t do too much close looking- I just knew I wanted it. So today we actually take a look at how much of a basket case this thing really is.

Looking pretty good. Lot less rust on it. Than anything you work that never stop you before. Keep up the great work.
Finally….more sheetmetal work to watch 😁 I'm surprised you don't have a couple of fans to circulate air in both of the shops. You should get a heat gun for stuff like taking out glass, it's a bit safer.
👍👍👍
Maybe vice grip garage will re build independence chevelle
I love her jokes
Wow the chevelle looks very similar to my 69 buick skylark
My grass is green and has wheels!
Well, I think we are off to a great start. She's just darn near all the way apart. Now if we are patient, it will heal itself, and we can forgive all the Sinnen that has gone on in the Miricle Chevelle. I thought Dani's hair looked fine.
Never cut on a body line makes more work . But love ur work gotta support the small guys build fine cars
Is it just me or at 19:25 one if them rip a smelly fart
This thing will be worth $50k US if you finish it painted. $60k with a horseshoe shifter.
😎🏴☠️
Looking forward to a rock solid, full tilt, ass kicking build.
Good car to keep
I came to see a car build and heard a couple dad jokes. Nice car keep up the rescue of old cars for the youngsters. I still regret getting rid of my 1964 Impala on my first wife’s request i only kept her another 6 months after that move. Looking back i should have kept the car . It was an Arizona car with not much blue paint left but she drove like a dream!
Daniel put the pot pipe down! I did think the jokes were funny
Dig it Dan…
I only hack on you, when you have it coming.
DD Death Wheel or the win!!!! Love it.
Enjoyed the video. Even enjoyed Dani laughing at her own corny jokes. Dan's face when she said she lied about the wheels was also amazing.
The car is really not as bad as I feared. They almost always rust around the back window. There's some obvious rust at the bottom of the left fender, but the right fender looked pretty good unless they're full of filler. Looks mainly like floor, quarters and tub replacement. I mean, that's a lot of work, but thankfully the frame looks pretty good. Like everyone and their brother, I love a Chevelle, but a 70 …..well I can't wait to watch you build this. Go DD speed shop, I look forward to your vids.
I’d drill out the spot welds on the quarters and do them proper. Once you do one like that you’ll see it’s a whole lot less body work which is something you said you hate.
That joke , wow so bad .
I got a 70 chevelle with that same trim on but i am not ripping mine off just to throw it away for junk it came on my chevelle and its staying with it
Those FrontRunner you have on the front of the Chevelle would look great on Dani's gasser they'd look like Gasser Wheels…
Ol morskie just picked up some chevelle sheet metal u can use for patch panels and what not
Realy hoping you dont tire of this and build it to your full potential dude!!! take your time and please dont rip any more trim off espcialy the drip rail trims as there will be someone somewere in floods of tears knowing how hard trim parts can be to source and the upper drip rail trims look mint shinning with a "nice" paint job lol hint hint champagne gold with black stripes definitely sounds great! Great watch as always.. dani your laugh tickles me 😂 both of you stay safe and well realy look forward to the next part👍👌💯
I LIKE THEM
Yep that’s Dans Auto Salvage 😂 bringing them back one fender at a time
Here's my advice to key board "you should do " fukm!!!
Would a cheap harbor freight tool cart be useful, or in your way? Just seems like you make a lot of trips going back and forth to retrieve tools.
I wouldnt put black wheels on an outhouse , but hey its your car LOL keep the vids coming DAN
Oh Murs your dad…. $2000 more now!!!😂😂😂
As retired auto glass technician that worked on many muscle cars the glass gods were with you lol. The first thing we did with our cut out knife, blades was too take them to the glass grinder and grind them down thin and as sharp and pointed as possible. First time I’ve ever seen a torch used to cut out a back glass lol. glad to see it all is well with the Back glass! Only DD speed shop could get away with a turbo torch and a glass knife😂
I’m so excited about this chevelle build. I hope you don’t cut corners and really build it. These cars deserve it. I hope there are allot of videos on this car, you are so lucky.
