  1. Hi Amar, I think you should consider this Nikon Z8 camera. I truly think expanding your knowledge with all camera brands will help to grow your channel. Amar, as much as I love Canon, I still grab either my Nikon D780 DSLR or Nikon F6 SLR camera and the Nikkor 58mm f/1.4 G lens or Nikkor 85mm f/1.4 G lens when I'm out on a photo walk. I feel I have the camera, lens and inspiration to find the light and composition. Nikon cameras and lenses are my favorite brand for cinematic images. Nikon is for real Amar and you should cover these extraordinary cameras and lenses.

  2. Currently shooting r6 & r7 with the rf100-500 but so tempted with a z8 paired with the z800 f6.3 find that to be a better match rather than canons f11 800mm without breaking the bank too much compared to the £19K lenses lol

  3. Nikon pricing a Z8 at $5000 is so far out in left field that it is unbelievable. It will be priced at $3998 and produce a staggering volume of sales for Nikon.

  4. z6iii will not come out soon. More profit on the Z8 and they need to further pay for the RD. Z6iii will come October. A lot of people have been saving money and well prepared to purchase this camera. This will be a HUGE HIT for Nikon. Folks with the Z6ii will jump all over the Z8 and not worry about the 2k. Good points on your video! Demand is HiGH supply should be ready to NOW

  5. If there are two cameras indeed, one better be a Z6II successor. Every major brand has one of these today and they all compete well against one another. It's the sweet spot between price to performance ratio, and it's the main crowd puller. I really believe they have an amazing lineup of glass now, the bodies just need to catch up.

  6. If it really stays at approximately 5000 bucks, then the current live stream channels who have been whining and complaining for a year will continue their whining and complaining. Why make excellent photos with what you DO have, when you can whine and complain about what you DON'T have.

  7. the z8 will be exciting though I hope Nikon makes the whole z series exciting with consistent autofocus system throughout the line up. no point having 6 series of cameras with one third being great with the rest being acceptable.

the z8 and z9 should be aspirational cameras for people that have lower level cameras that want to get an even better experience and capability. if the foundations are weak it doesn't matter that the cosmetics are best in class.

  8. Amar,
I think Nikon doesn't have the luxury of offering multiple sensor like Sony and Canon. Nikon don't make sensors. I think they'll have a 24M, 47M non-stack, 45M stack sensor and recycle it.
I was checking Nikon rumour and looks like the body outer shells are made of plastic (plastic like/non-metallic). They’re claiming weight saving is the reason. Also, looking at Nikon rumour, it looks like the EVF is going to the same as Z9 i.e., not 9M.
I think Nikon would do similar feature like D850 where you'll require the additional grip and Z9 battery to use all functionality.

I'm guess the price of Z8+Batt grip+Z9 battery would be near Z9 price.
BTW, This would be a good option for Nikon users.

  9. The Z8 should be under $3k with a grip and extra battery/charger. If it comes in at a cost within $1k from the Z9 then people should get a Z9. Maybe Nikon will surprise us and make the Z8 a cinema camera. I think Canon was smart to build the R3 with a grip built in and larger battery then have that body for the R1.

  10. It is funny you mention the Z PF 800 f/6.3 – if I could find it, I would buy it but I am not going to wait a year for it. I think Nikon will announce the release, ship a few and then not ship it for a year. I also think that Canon will announce something right behind it that will smoke the Z8 and Z9. But…. I can buy the Canon RF 800mm right now though if I had room on a credit card. I can also pick up the old EF version that will work perfectly on the R5 and eventually the R1. And I also agree with you that Nikon needs an awesome crop sensor camera that can compete with the R7 because….. the R7 flawlessly competes in many ways with the Z9!! Great video – I hope we all find out soon. 🙏🤗❤

  11. I've been trying to avoid all the Z8 hype – I'll get excited when it comes.
As long as it has LED buttons, a 10pin connector and a EN-EL18 battery grip otherwise they can keep it … 🦘
