Tnx great tip I got…
My drill has function of reverse so the head got easily fixed with that.
My DHP489 makes a loud mechanical noise, like a gear jumping inside the machine, this happens when the drill is using force.
for example if I drill a hole, when the drill bit hits the hard part the machine gives a loud bang and continues its work as if it were normal.
do you think this is normal?
Simple as that. Another top video
I got the screw out but the chuck won't budge on mine. I tried the hammer and allen trick. Tried using and impwct on it. Its stuck good. How can i get it off?
Thank you so much
Mine is still spinning when I hit it with hammer doesn’t come loose
Add graphite grease!
Works great! Done it many times
Whats a great makita xph10 concrete 1/2 13mm steel 1/2 13mm replacement chuck, also for Milwaukee M18 2606-20 1/2 13mm drill /driver chuck it's total shit everything just falls out trading in for makita tools got that hammer drill but figured I'd put a good chuck on it to unless it's already good haven't tryed anything in it much yet, looked at some rohm 51 chucks think it was 50 each but worth it, don't know why they can't throw that on the hammer n drivers when u buy them and charge 50 more people want the good long lasting fixable tools
То что патрон крепится винтом, об этом знать не нужно.
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🙏🙏✌️✌️✌️
I really love this guys knoledge and his ease of work. Its like watching a gun or rifle expert taking a weapon apart and putting it back together. Same kind of flow.
Unless its dewalts top of the range drills. Those chucks are pinned in. So you'll need a new chuck and gearbox.
You can repair many of those chucks that you throw away. Just leave them in cytric acid over night or longer.
It's a pity about the shit sleeves they use instead of a bearing.
Makita cheap out on that part & those drills always end up woth a wobble
Ma shita
Great tips on how to fix these ourselves, thanks!
I did not know it was that easy peasy lemon squeezy
If in doubt, a bigger hammer !
where did i buy chuck
🇮🇪
The model in question is not worth fixing you would be lucky to drill a cream cake with it
Most people would’ve just chucked it
My chuck really doesn’t come loose this way… Any other suggestions?
Hey were do you buy those chucks form
I prefer a keyed chuck.
This video is actually inverted, so that when you try this yourself, you actually break the tool so that you have to send it in to be fixed instead 💀
I’m joking, but imagine!
i have the same model makita dhp485, its fairly new and my chuck has a bit of wobble and runout so its not very precise. will replacing my chuck fix this?
well done/
Can you do a video about your tool
Are all chuck replacement the same? Milwaukee and dewalt, makita?
That Makita is way better now only because of the metal chuck what brand you used
Is there a make/model Chuck you recommend?
I see the new one is metal anyways. Is that Jacobs, Röhm or some ‘offshore’ brand?
