I’m thinking of upgrading my Air 2… absolutely love it, but thinking Air 2S for the 1 inch sensor. Major put off with the Air 3 is the smaller sensor, and the price – esp if a 3S is imminent

I just wonder if the Bill specifies DJI drones only , if DJI have another company building the same drones just rebranded in effect would that get around the bill ? Im sure DJI will do everything possible to keep selling to the US market.

Cant wait to see some reviews on the Neo. We're very bummed about the DJI situation in the US drone community. Great company with great products. They don't deserve what they are getting and frankly, US companies are 5+ years behind in drone tech and the drones they are making are all for corporate types and government wanks. They are not priced within the reach of consumers and most are actually…well…crap. Think Skydio. Over priced, underwhelming and terrible support. It seems they don't really want us to have drones. Hoping the EU can maybe do more than US companies seem capable of. With DJI out of the picture there will be even less incentive for US companies to innovate for the consumer drone market.
Regarding the possible U.S. ban, I have contacted my senators and my congressman. I am sure that with all the recreational flyers and first responders and police departments that every politician has been “schooled” to no avail. The bill now in the Senate which would ban DJI and Autel has absolutely no data to support it. Follow the money and the anti-China rhetoric. The Ministry of Truth is in control. George Orwell keeps telling me, “I told you so.”
Thank you, Ian! Yes, it is kind of… No! Actually, it is fishy that all of a sudden, the DJI brand is the boogie man in the US. It's all about a certain US manufacturer (Skidio) has managed to buy enough crooked members in congress to try and convince the rest that DJI is a threat, The American brand should have a monopoly regardless of who suffers in the process. Remember, Rick Scott embezzled millions of dollars from Medicare in Florida and was never held accountable. But at least we will get to have a few more "early releases". Cheers, Brendan
Having a collection like that, how do You manage to take good care of all their batteries? The health of the batteries is a top question. During the 1960:ies the US had communist fear. Now they have fear again. Personally I upload nothing to the DJI account, keep it all in my Pc.
What could outnumber a Mini 3 pro and a Mavic 3 pro? Nothing so far.

Hi Ian. The image of the neo box contents is fake. There is a goggles 3 and a battery for the goggles 2 for example. It's rumored that there might be a cheaper box style goggles for the neo is which proof was found in the code of dji fly

Really want the Neo, Did a 7 day hike last year with the mini 3 pro and 3 batteries AND controller. All toooo much. Love a little light thing attached to me phone to use.
According to latest news, the ban never made it through Congress, so for now at least, the ban is dead… however that doesn't mean they won't try again.
The upcoming US elections (which drag on for far too long) may have a big influence on a potential DJI ban.
