  1. Those shutters and mechanisms on the folders always gum up. You can tear it down and clean or remove all the glass, and then bathe the whole shutter mechanism in kerosene (or similar solvent) then flush that out with isopropyl alcohol a number of times then leave to dry for about a week. Your shop should have done this as part of the cla though. Most of them are supposed to run dry so shouldn't be relubricated (mostly).

    Not sure what the chinese shutter was based on but would I expect to be a prontor or compur copy so you can search online for teardown/cleaning tips.
