One week ago my Cyber Beast arrived. This experience leads me to agree with Sandy Monroe that Tesla is seven years ahead of the nearest competitor. Toyota may never catch up. every day the solar system on my home feeds the beast.
The air ride suspension, 35 inch tires, silent motors, and 7000 pounds of strength were gliding up Fred Canyon truck Trail at 10 miles an hour where are my wrangler unlimited would not competently go more than 3 mph.
If I figure gasoline here in SoCal at $4.80 per gallon, the beast ingesting 450 kWh per mile, and recharge worth $.35 per kilowatt hour, I’m getting the equivalent of 30 miles per gallon.
But hey that’s what they charge for the Juice during off peak hours around here, and I’m not paying anything at all at home. All a guy needs for this trip is 130Gs….
