1:23:14 The actual Flats the Flounder punching Spongebob for 24 hours straight experience.
These are hella high quality videos
Loved the video. But damn did yt triple up on the commercials? And some of them were over 90 min long.
Listening to these guys talk about player agency and choice back in the day, only to become the Todd Howards they are now, is so depressing.
Nothing wrong with asset reuse… Look at the yakuza series, reusing the same map and using some animations still from the ps2 original
Did you figure out that placing the moon stone was based on its distance from you vs its placement in the world or look it up? It's not a cheat if you have to figure out what each placement means and how placement works.
Watching through this it's funny to realize that megami tensei games had been coming out this far back but only now are games in that series routinely getting PC ports.
Something is super fucky with YouTube, because for some reason I wasn't told you'd released a new video! I only found this video in the recommended section of another video, and about 8 minutes into this video I glanced down to the bottom of the screen to check the time and I saw that I was no longer subscribed?!?
Like, what??? I *know* I subscribed to you nearly a year ago. Now Im questioning what other creators/channels YouTube has removed from my account.
I've shot ta cannon at Lord British in this game so many times, I'm surprised the castle is still standing.
1:47:23 man love the osrs references . You should make a video about it ❤
I played this game as a child on the Super Nintendo. Pretty sure I still have the cartridge. I did NOT understand it lol
It was on SNES. I enjoyed it.
Sherry is the most broken character in Ultima VI. She has the highest dexterity of any party member you can recruit and can have her stats upgraded at the shrines. She can dual wield boomerangs early on but later you can give her two lightning wands. She can single handedly wipe out almost anything in the game.
I never plated the Ultima series, but I love watching this series because it does document the early history of RPGs and it has influences until today – the plot twist with the gargoyles was really interesting
tibia took sprites from this game
Correction: Lord British is not immortal. Rainz ganked him in Ultima Online and no amount of crybaby revenge bans will ever change that.
thank you for the video, could you please share the link to the remake? thanks
Sherry is no mere mouse, she's the GOAT
Very excited for when you do the "Worlds of Ultima" games. The time has come to RETVRN to Mars
Majuular has similar voice to Sseth Tzentach
Sherry for best waifu of… whatever year this game came out I forgor.
I love this series. I'd love to see you take a look at Starflight 1 and 2.
I watched this in one sitting, then went to bed. I had a dream that I slept on your couch and had to give a powerpoint presentation to your family, but couldn't even remember the topic. 10/10, pairs well with painkillers.
2 hours?
Nah.

I don't think I ever found the pirate map, or even noted it. I just wandered the dungeon until I passed through to gargoyle land, and got the plot from them.
I really hope you do more immersive sim reviews and retrospectives in the future. There are so many aspects that make your vids great, but the little stories of how you uniquely solved certain problems just adds an extra layer to them.
If I remember correctly you can kill Lord British in two ways. Casting Armageddon, or use the pick-pocket spell to take his instakill wand.
