Omg! Where do you live? It looks incredible!
I very much enjoyed this video going through your thanksgiving preps from start to finish. I enjoyed it more than watching a movie
Maybe put the thicker door mat at the bootom of the stairs leading up to your door?
Flower arrangements are beautiful!
Hi Becky! Do have a recipe for your spiced cranberry cocktail that you would share? Thanks so much! As an old grandma, I have so enjoyed your channel. I know you inspire young people, but you also inspire folks like me!!!😊
A little bit of instant espresso powder in the crème brûlée is amazing!
How are there so few likes? You’re a rockstar in the kitchen! Happy holidays
I am the oldest of 11 children. Grew up with big gardens and both chickens and ducks who both had big fresh eggs. My mom was in charge of the garden. We also had black caps and mulberries. We ate like royalty as mom’s stepmother was a school dietitian and an awesome baker & canner. She won many ribbons at the New York State and Duchess County Fairs. Mile high pies, rich cakes and extraordinary jellies jams and preserves. Many had a little fiery zing. Amazing recipes mixing strange combinations such as wholecranberries and French salad dressing and Boursin garlic herb cheese. She used lots of goat cheese and herb blends like Herbs de Provence ( a French blend of countryside goodness like Rosemary, Thyme, Basil, Marjoram, Tarragon, savory, oregano, and a bay leaf& sometimes Lavender . I grew to love this blend and associate the aroma with my grandma Mac.
This blend is great in homemade artesian bread.
Hi Becky I just strat watching your videos did you have a baby I love watching you video
The bread looked cute, a brush of butter would’ve really added to it. I love the who theme n idea of this party.
I make Ina Garden creme brulee..it is great also. Then I make a raspberry sauce..so tasty.
You should move the top mat by your chair set and the plaid at the front door
Great
I love the table without the tablecloth much better! It's always so nice to see a little of the wood.
I always make Crème Brûlée for Thanksgiving and never strain it. I don't ever have bits of scrambled eggs in mine. Probably because my recipe does not call for cooking before putting in the ramekins. It's only egg yokes, sugar and vanilla. And, as for the foam, I don't worry about it because once I add the sugar and use my torch to caramelize it, any foam is hidden. the recipe came from Elegantly Easy Crème Brûlée: & Other Custard Desserts by Debbie Puente. It's so delicious and creamy! Such a wonderful compact book! I’m not positive it's still available because I've had for many years. There are many recipes in it.
Everything looks delicious and the decorations and table look beautiful!
Hi Becky, everything looked good and I definitely need to try the pumpkin pasta . Question, what are some of your favorite games for dinner parties?
I appreciate all you showed but was hoping you showed how you decorated your front porch for your party. With the pumpkins you grew.
I so love watching your videos and hearing about your life. You are the grand daughter i wish i had to share my passion for all things food related.
I have a hot cranberry drink recipe to share with you: hot cranberry juice, white Creme de Cacao liqueur, topped with whipped cream. Delicious as an after dinner drink or skating party warm-up.
for water bath things, always put the water in first..so you dont pour water in the food
Everything homegrown tastes so much nicer than store bought, I’ve got a grafted nectarine & peach tree, I’ve picked all the nectarines off it and omg yum, still have some peaches on it and again sooo sweet and juicy, just beautiful!
I have an olive tree also, it’s not very old so no olives yet, also have mini apple, lemon, lime, mandarins trees, it’s so good growing your own things.
Oh!!! I bought a dehydrator! 😊😊, my air fryer does have a dehydrate function on it but it’s 1800watts, my dehydrator is only 350watts, so I’m going to save a lot on electricity using the dehydrator, I’m going to make beef jerky also, so many things, do my fruits, you can also make fruit roll ups/straps what ever you call them in the USA, for baby A, he would love them and so much healthier than store bought fruit flavoured sugar!
I’m so excited Becky, because of you I’m trying all these new things, I can’t freeze dry as the units are just to expensive but I can do lots of other things and it’s all because of you, thank you 😊
