  1. Great review! I was wondering if you do review requests but, i'd love to see you review a film called "I Saw the Devil"(2009), a korean film. I'd love to hear your thoughts and insight on that film. Thanks!!!

  2. I'm of two minds about the vampire reveal in the trailer. I think knowing the premise probably drew more audience than otherwise, to be honest. But also I agree there was much wasted potential in not having a true twist. Lastly, I think Laszlo, the vampire dad, would have been perfect casting for Doctor Who's Matt Smith… if he hadn't already squandered that with his role in Morbius.

  3. I know I didn't mind the reveal about Abigail in trailer because, I know that this would be a very good vampire film. You're right about the 3rd act though, Alyssa, some of the scenes are dragged out too long, taking some of the fun away but not all of it. How about the last scene, though? I love it!

  4. Going to check this out on Thursday, so I will ceck back then.

Film ruined by marketing? Well, the first that that comes to my mind is the DVD (I think. It might have been VHS) release of Planet of the Apes with, let's just say, an image of a particular thing taking up a huge portion of the front cover. I know it is an older film, but come on! I have been able to show Psycho to people as an adult who managed to have avoided spoilers for that. You don't put thebig twist on the front cover!

  5. Yeah I thought this movie was awesome I went to go watch this movie twice over the weekend and I loved both watchings , this might be my favorite horror movie of the year so far also for me this is probably my favorite movie by Radio Silence and second is Ready or Not then Scream 6 then lastly Scream 5 but really all of Radio Silence's movies are amazing šŸ§›šŸ¦‡šŸ©ø, my only and main complaint is that there wasn't enough Vampire world building I love vampires and learning lore about vampires and the movie didn't give me enough in my opinion I wanted more worldbuilding about the vampires šŸ˜‚
