Addressing Negativity In The Nintendo Community And

I just want to say, I always appreciate that you respond to comments, I always feel respected even if we disagree. I've very much been anti- Switch 2 in 2024, but I'm starting to think it's more likely. I generally put very little stock into rumors unless it's from someone I specifically trust like Nate the Hate. I think we should keep up the healthy conversation and just ignore people who are trolling or being bad faith.

Andres, don't let the haters get in your head. At the moment there just isn't that much about nintendo to discuss, other then the switch 2.
Not everyone understands that.
Only if the upcoming direct is a regular direct, that will give us more to speculate.
But other then that, the switch 2 is just the most interesting topic to talk about.

I don't do sensless drama, and doing THAT is directly feeding a drama fueled internet war, cancelling people for basically no reason, ect- not my bag at all.

People tell the truth and people lie. I'm taking anything switch 2 related rumors and leaks like a grain of salt 🧂. I'll believe this switch 2 when Nintendo announces or reveals this switch 2 Andres. I'm hyping responsibly. Your doing a great job 👏.

I just don't get why people have to complain and spread negativity in video comments about content creators making the same, or very similar, videos. It is so easy to not watch, or even click on, a video if it doesn't interest you (unless we're talking about clickbait, but I really don't think you're doing that). It's not like people are forced to watch videos. If it doesn't interest you, just continue scrolling and watch another video instead. Let us who are interested watch the video and have healthy discussions in the comments, without unnecessary negativity and toxicity. Keep up the amazing content man, and don't let those people get to you!

First off, Andres, there is nothing that I think you are doing that is necessarily wrong. Do I sometimes listen to a video of yours and think, "Well that was a lot of speculative crap." Yes I do sometimes. But like you said it is clear that you have connections that feed you good information and that you are pretty discerning. There is never a time I click on your videos and feel like I was somehow misled. Rumors and speculation around Nintendo consoles as entertainment goes all the way back to EGM giving folks in the USA early information about the Super Famicom, and I for one have loved it. I remember when the Gamecube was still being rumored as the Starcube, when no one quite knew what the Nintendo Revolution's controllers would be, and how the Wii U was just Project Cafe or whatever. The point is listening to podcasts and reading articles about this stuff was always fun and got the mind reeling about the possibilities. Your channel is entertainment. You yourself are pretty fun to listen to, and I get the dopamine hit I need leading up to this next console. And that is why the algorithm is pushing these videos because clearly there are thousands of us who get that same hit from your videos. And if they are somehow feeling like you are not delivering, then I think the problem is that they are more trying to change you into the channel or content creator they want, not that you are somehow not being authentic to your brand. Like I said, I have never felt like I went to one of your videos and came away thinking, "That is not what I expected."

My only recommendation to you is that you have almost 36,000 followers. I am sure most of those come to you for the rumors and speculation. They probably won't click on your other videos, and honestly I don't either, because I have other sources for those types of videos that I like better, BUT I really do think you could get something going if you wanted to branch out. But you also said you like making rumor and speculation videos, so just keep doing that. I also don't know how much of your financials are tied up in videos that perform well, and I get that is a concern. But yeah, I think a lot of these folks complaining need to look more inside rather than direct their anger towards you.

Now I will spend the day thinking why I spent so much of my time and typing power on one of those AndresRestart videos again, but that's on me. Keep doing what makes you happy. Speculation is fun.

I feel as if the worst thing about a partner showcase is whether or not the March switch 2 reveal, and therefore 2024 switch 2 release, ends up happening as well which obviously we won't know for sure until March. In other words I think people will feel burned until the switch 2 is announced then they'll forget completely, or the switch 2 is not announced and that negativity from the lack of a direct will continue longer. Either way its the existance of the switch 2 reveal that I think is more important than the type of direct/showcase we get.

Are views trending down for your channel? I feel like Nintendo has been losing the attention of the fan base over the past couple months. I'm to the point where I'm no longer interested in rumors or speculation. Wake me up when pre-orders begin.
