Installed Base, and yet Apple is apparently positioning their offer as needed new hardware! Negating their installed base! Such a shame they canβt leverage the neural processing they already put in the hands, laps and homes of their customers. It feels like their executives have no sense of the world. Their walled garden is in need of being ripped down and a citizen centric model of compute for the rest of us installed in its place. As for Bots, such as Optimus, they need to be taxed to enable government to meet demand for labour in sectors that benefit citizens not corporate profit. Social Care. Health Care. Bots undertaking labour that ensure human dignity supersedes greed and avoids sliding into a Blade Runner-esk dystopian future.
