“I Shoot Watches”

Below is Wei Koh’s interview with Rexhep Rexhepi. It was from this interview that I learned with whom I had spoken at Akrivia. It’s well worth watching if you have any interest at all in watchmaking!

  1. Hi Dayton, it was fantastic spending "TIME" with you on your trip to the U.S.! Silly Or Serious? Definitely both – I agree! Whether its working on watches, learning about the history, brands and watchmaking techniques – or even meeting other enthusiasts, every serious moment is balanced with awe, whimsy and fun. 😄

  2. No way you met Rexhep Rexhepi! That's a crazy cool 😲 Must you make me insanely jealous that I don't live in Switzerland every video?! 😂 This was a fun one, very nice that you and Mike met up — the people in the coffee shop must have been amazed at your traveling watchmaking suitcase, how'd you bring all that stuff? 😂 Cheers!

  3. I love your enthusiasm, I'm much much younger than you guys (lol), as a lapidary I've been in the gem trade for awhile since I often see beautiful watches pass by I started collecting them around 2005, same with watchmaking tools I've been hoarding… But actually doing repairs & services on movements is a whole other game than collecting. One day… When I have the time.
Props for having the guts to go all in guys!
    No guts no glory …

  4. Really enjoyed watching this video. I just started watching Mike’s channel about a week or so ago. Pretty cool to see you guys meeting in person. Welcome to NYC. What are you planning to see in the City? I am aware of the Bulova museum in the Empire State Building, however, I don’t know if they are currently open or not. I lived in NYC for many years. Have fun.
