I noticed your frame time went down after enabling Fluid motion frames 2 in Spider-Man
Will take Asus another 6months at least to roll that out for the OG Ally and the X probably which is sad. But most of the time going with lower details and settings gets you a better experience than input lag. Especially Spider-Man, fast paced combat with lag is really bad. But on slower titles AFMF is great.
Can someone who uses lossless scaling give me an honest opinion? Afmf 1 was terrible in my opinion so laggy and u needed a decent framerate where lossless scaling still doubles the frames even if you dip below 30 fps and the bicubic upscaler is crystal clear… i play with a controller so i see no latency with lossless scaling… does afmf 2 compare to lossless?
This needs to come to steam deck so easier than the mods
I play SpiderMan remastered on my original Ally at 900p low, FSR quality, and FMF enabled, with 60+ FPS on 15w performance. A full battery lasts about 1.5 hours playing like this.
I still prefere Lossless Scaling tbh especially zhe X3 mode
When people say its cheating, well those are people havent been gaming long enough lol whatever makes it to where you can play the game better and get through the story is a plus. I remember having to use Omega drivers to get any type of performance on lower end hardware.
Guys, I have a question. Can you answer? Is AFMF or 2 shared with any game? Can I activate it in any game?

Still no official support on the Legion Go, Lenovo seem to be much slower at releasing updates vs ASUS for their handheld, i think next gen i will go with ASUS.
why only show the performance on most games at low settings?…. you can atleast show how it will look if we try with medium or high graphics

Not working on mine, Ghost of Tsushima, Forbidden West and Stray tested. Driver installed smoothly, along with CCC (all manual), but no joy. Still same FPS, am i missing something?

Got my ally x the other day but sadly been only playing with a external controller because my left trigger was broken. Now I gotta spend money to order replacement parts because asus wont just send it.

I installed this new preview driver and it also gave the npu on my 7840hs a proper driver. Now it appears in task manager.

All the dynamic techniques not just for resolution upscaling like DRS but also for dynamic rendering together with the frame generation will play KEY ROLE in the future video games and GPU HW & SW because that's what gamers and industry was asking since beginning dedicated GPUs became gaming HW. Possibility to upscale games resolution and increase framerate with highest quality and as efficiently as possible either or by using both GPUs & AI is the holy grail of what future holds. Both Nvidia and AMD r doing great job in this field with Intel definitely not standing far behind and the rest like Apple, Qualcomm and Arm r definitely following this trend and making it very relevant.
