  1. The only reason i'd take an nvidia GPU over AMD is because Nvidia has CUDA… Without CUDA, Minecraft (basically the only game I play) runs worse, went from a 1050 ti to an rx 6600 and saw no performance gain in Minecraft, in some situations even worse… Until the day AMD has a proper CUDA alternative or translation driver,,, I'd stick to Nvidia

  2. Imagine being dominant for 45 years+ and then come crashing down to earth like a rock. That's gotta hurt… a lot… sweet jesus, their market cap has dropped by around 40% last year

  3. Honestly. If AMD goes open source for most of their products then this could lead to a revolution in GPUs since everyone can build off the work of each other which could lead to new companies and out of this world innovation in GPUs

  5. If the youtuber Graphically Challenged is correct on upcoming specs maybe AMD maybe is trying to "dwindle stock" of their 7000 series GPUs. "Supposedly" the 8700 XT will be 16gb and 15% faster than the 7800XT for $399 (Q3/Q4) and the 8800XT 40% faster than the 7800XT for $499 (Q3). Hoping the rumors are true???

  6. AMD opensource is great.(in case I was not clear with great I mean really great, truly, might have said it simple but is a big deal, also for gamers, since as a example nvidia has locked down closed source propetairy drivers and has been using that to force limits on gaming cards despite them being capable of running new tech nvidia added on locks to prevent them from using it, AMD has already been much more user friendly with their drivers often being opensource, opensourcing even more even further will certainly lead to great performance, stability and feature improvements).
Intel Battlemage coming is great(the reduction in output refressrate on 8k to 144hz isn't that problematic generally since at the resolutions people actually game at that would still mean you would play at around 1000fps before noticing it and I doubt many people will be gaming on 8k, even less so go over 144hz in 8k).

  7. Intel Current gen is a Joke and previous gen aswell. the issue i caused due to the too high powerdraw makes the integrated graphics unstable even when it is disabled there is still current going through the cpu in that area. so people have to lower the maximum power on it loses preformance makes it bassicaly simulair to a 12900k. goodjob intel you can only make small gains per generation due to too much power good job. atleast there is AMD which brings cpu's out with simular preformance and way lower wattage. thank you amd for saving my powerbill.

  8. on a msi mortar board my 14900k ran up to 430 watts in cinbench NOT overclocked…and that 4096 power limit allowed it. I went to the bios and changed it to 320 watts max and have had ni issues.
