LM5 – It's not my goal to be a "nitpicker," but I must point out that your animation, as good as it truly is, shows a Block 2 Apollo CSM. Unfortunately, Apollo 4 launched with a Block 1 spacecraft on top. Sorry. Otherwise, Brilliant!

This is fantastic. I’ve never heard this audio before. I hope at some point you can get the Apollo 6 flight director loop. From what what I read in the Go Flight book. The loop was going crazy.
Brilliant! Another triumph, Simon, as was the crucial "all up test" back in the days of my early teens. We were really experiencing "white knuckle" flights during the debut of the Saturn V, and were amazed back then (and, honestly, today, too) at the launch successes that the vehicle accomplished, becoming the "never fail" rocket. I wish you and all of your subscribers & fans could have been with us in the Sixties when Apollo was one of the very few sources of pride as a nation and a technological race. I recall being disappointed when the last 3 missions were canceled, as all but the Apollo 20 LM were already built. Few wanted to budget the operational costs of those flights, given the not-inconsiderable expense associated with Apollo missions. I'm just grateful for having lived during those events, as well as your efforts at creating these documentations. Again, bravo!
I will never forget watching that launch live on TV. I was always a confirmed 'space nut' and had been looking forward to this first flight of the Saturn V ever since it was first described during the Gemini program. Many folks don't understand the significance of this first launch. This was the first time in US Rocket history that a complete three stage rocket was all-up tested at the same time. There was a lot riding on this first launch being successful.
I'm surprised you didn't put "Uncle Walter" Cronkite's wild reporting while rocking around in his press trailer like dice in a crazy game of Backgammon. 🤣
