  1. Please don't become one of those channels where half the attention is on (and half the comments are about) your pets. Please. Nothing against them, but I (and, I assume, most of your viewers of the past few years) came for your valuable info and insightful commentary.

  2. Yup, you are right on the dermatologist! I went a couple years back for my back acne. I asked him what was the root and if it could be food or lifestyle. He said probably not and gave me 4 medication! 🙁 Huge waste sadly. I have chronic dandruff/eczema that got really bad during the pandemic myself. Great Video BTW! Have a great day ❤️

  3. This malicious-compliance news was what pushed me to install Linux on my 2010 Mac Pro and now I'm watching this video on my Fedora installation. It's nice knowing that I'll be able to happily move to a new and better PC at a good price when this old thing finally dies.

  4. Soo many people have no clue how much parts cost, I work at a gas station, and occasionally i make jokes about the cost of the ram on phones, (phones in general, its a fookin shock to me that anything comes with less than 6gb in 2024) some people are actually seriously curious, and most ask, "whats ram?" SMH. If people were better informed about the devices they use every day, I think it would be harder for apple to do what they do.

  5. Hi Louis, I wanted to ask, what is the best way to contact you about a topic suggestion for one of your future videos on the subject of corporations screwing people over? I have some information on what I believe is very impactful in a certain industry and hasn't been addressed yet on YouTube or any other websites except for Reddit. It is too sensitive and too much text to put in a comment. Is it ok to contact you by the email listed in your channel description?

  6. I am starting to wonder how all this unscrupulous, scummy, sociopatico-narcisstico-aronganto-cynical behaviours of richest corporations will end. And it will. One such possibility is AI robots will take away all jobs from people, and people will not have money to buy things anymore. All those huge corporate businesses will crumble down like sand castles. Oh, wait! Something similar already happened in the past. Great depression. A hundred years ago. That was like a droplet next to the ocean that is coming.

  7. I somehow found a boardview for my couple Asus motherboards from 2012 and spent a full day to figure out how to read it. Then I found some important details in them that I promptly put to use in coreboot. Looks like I will hang on to them forever.

  8. Apple may have spent significant effort plugging the holes in the parts pipeline for the last few years, and now that the market is dead, feel comfortable using their permission for PR points.

Between serialization/pairing, partner subjugation, machine shredding, manufacturer binding, profitable 3rdP repair infeasibility, and other methods, they have mitigated the risk of allowance.

  9. Bought a harddrive cheap from a supplier on some random site, thought I'd have a go cause it was cheaper than used.

Shit arrived in a box which it slid about in with no bubblewrap, but they only put a single, A4 sized sheet of small bubblewrap around that packaging, put on an eBay branded box…
Yea nah I aint even gonna plug that in, I returned it and got a refund cause I know exactly how fucked that harddrive is with Evri delivery standards lol.

  10. Everything Apple does is the definition of malicious compliance. Including retail sales. They have to give you a physical THING for your money, and they don't want to, so they screw you forever more afterward. Malicious compliance, every action. They are that shit of a company.

  11. But Louis!.!.!.!!!! If you fly to Tim Cook’s secret underground bunker and give him the Gluck-Gluck then MAYBEEEEE he will give you half of the used tube of screen glue and a torn scrap of the schematics!!! /s
