  1. This is one of those shaggy dog games that you can't help but appreciate despite its flaws being hugely obvious even to fans. It's a post-apocalyptic fantasy with Winnie the Pooh style narration. Sure it's over-encumbered with play mechanics and the characters are kind of homely, but still, it's a fun time waster and there's nothing else like it.

  2. Love playing this on PC and the switch downgrade looks actually good.
I was very worried when THQ Nordic mentioned Switch release back in 2018 after seeing how great this game looks on modern systems and expected it to be cancelled because i thought no one would want to invest time to downgrade it for switch.
On PC I see this game go on sale for very cheap and stores sell console verisons for around £10 to £20 and I expect the switch version to get cheap sales from its £35 price tag

  3. 7.5 is a credible score in my opinion. Not every game has to be great to be fun. I consider a 5 to be the bare minimum of competence. To me, 7 means that it did some things pretty well, it just didn't achieve the level of excellence that rare games achieve. 8,9 or especially 10, it would throw off the scale completely and the rating would become invalid. Sorry about the rant. 😂

  4. Incredibly well written review!
Also, pretty impressive how the game maintains 30 fps. Kudos to the porting team, they made the right sacrifices IMO
