If you press erase after first pressing the play or on/off buttons for line 1 or line 2, it erases just that line’s messages and uses the standard erase prompt. If you play both prompts back-to-back and listen closely, you’ll notice that the “To erase all messages” part of the “select line 1 or line 2” version is the low-quality version as heard on the KX-TGC models and KX-TGD2xx, and non-Bluetooth 2012/2013 models.
Unlike the old voice, there’s never a time the new voice just says the word “Line” as its own “voice clip” as I call it.
