Coordinated Assault with Rapid fire and Beam Overload does not give the same results as the new trait. You cannot achieve 100% uptime for Beam Overload or Rapid fire via Coordinated Assault while you can with the new trait. Going from 50% to 100% uptime is a large damage difference.

It looks like it could be a really good carrier but as a Borg theme build with the console, if you aren't assimilating things it might lose some value.
This upgraded trait seems like it has quality of life changes that the cstore traits should have gotten instead of a new effect. I figured assimilator would be the 14th bundles sell ship tbh this make me more interested to see what the 14th is though.
Adding actual Borg ships (the liberated jugg excluded) is surely a bad sign for this game, remember when the devs said that when we see Borg ships in the game that would be the beginning of the end? At least it isn't a cube or sphere because I think at that point it definitely would be the end of the game. I am hoping for at least another 5 years of STO.
You know I was kind of on board until they mentioned it was a carrier and I'm like well I haven't really seen any carriers they have actually been worth the money. I kind of think that carrier ships need a huge buff in some way for them to be more viable and I mean Way beyond simply just putting a few ship traits on certain ships that I have to purchase

I certainly understand Cryptic wanting to release this ship in the lottery box format, but I wish they would have done something more unique with it. If this was a Borg Cube for example perhaps have the classic Borg voice over intro every time you use your tractor beam or something; obviously you would have the option of disabling the voice over though. Regardless, I don't throw money at lottery boxes so this is an easy pass for me. Very Informative video, keep up the great work.

ANother borg ship I have a t6 lockbox ship still unopen might ahve it in it, and yes the premiuum t6 ship from the campign events is all ships from before 2022 in them. My dreadnaught odyessy cruiser thats one of the hero ships already can assimulate other ships as well with borg consoles and everything. I mean I have pets that dont have those abilities on my dreadnaught so thats good if it gives them more and not many have the friendship ship.
Side Question: Is any of the winter ground stuff worth picking up?

It's another pointless lockbox ship. I would have rather seen the resources and time put into bug fixes
I'm going to pass on this one. I've spent way too much money. I agree though that Cryptic needs to do better. There are so many easy things they could do to make the game better.
I don't think your t6 promo box will have this ship in it as you got box before the ship was released. Pretty sure these promo ship packs are all dated so you have to open a "new" infin box that'll give a new promo ship box, that'll have this ship in it.
