  1. seems like this style is specifically targeting ppl who want open earbuds and cos I really hate all the buds out with rubber in ear and Im willing to pay just for the comfort…or am I

  2. I am glad to see you have a second channel! I wear hearing aids. Widex Moments to be exact. So all in ear buds are out for me. Seeing that millions of people wear hearing aids and I would imagine a few million people do love good sound… it is possible to wear this type of device and simultaneously wear a hearing aid? Thanks.

  3. I got the quiet comfort last year because I’ve always like their over the ear headphones. I couldn’t stand them. First they were extremely uncomfortable. And secondly, they wouldn’t even work with my iPhone. They would drop the connection randomly. And a lot. Then wouldn’t repair. Sent them back and got AirPods.

  4. I get everything you’re saying but here’s another take. I’m totally blind and open earbuds are very helpful, Without them I have to take my phone out of my pocket every time I want my GPS, it's talking loud enough that it's not private and both hands are used up since I’ve got my cane. Bone conduction is nice but the sound quality just isn’t there for even casual listening, it's fine for speech from my phone and that's about it. I just got the shokz openfit air conduction buds and they’re probably the best I’ve ever had but the sound quality is still meh. I’d pay the premium for even halfway decent sound, I’m not looking for ANC and I think most people in the market for these are smart enough to know it's letting sound in.

  5. I'd love to see an alternative to these that aren't Huawei, becuase I can't get Huawei in the u.s.
I picked up a pair of clip buds priced at $42 about two months ago and was very dissapointed with the software they were using

  6. Have you thought about that they are going insane on spending when it comes to advertising and celebrity sponsorship which is driving that really high price.

I think this was necessary to do when it comes to having to sell a complete new design/idea. With that being said they could dramatically improve the quality with V2 and not need to go that crazy with advertising.

  7. I have to agree. I have the Bose Quietcomfort Ultras and while pricey they replaced some well used over ear headphones. I've looked at the Bose Opens because I do like the open hearing design. Watching helpful videos like yours, I think i'll stick to the Shokz OpenFit at half the price.

  8. Can't follow your argumentation. You are comparing these with closed earbuds. It's like comparing trees with birds. There is a complete different use case. I'm fully on your side when it comes down to the price. But this is the only argument at the end you have.

  9. I love them. If you want the best sound, don’t Forget to buy the btd600. With this codecs, they are many Times better than my Sholkz. And with eyeglasses, it’s many ways better too. BMW, Mercedez always exist and it’s ok like that. If you dont want to pay, pass and take cheaper.

  10. I think Bose has a lot of balls to charge what they do, given all that you don't get.

The very nature of open ear earbuds means you don't get ANC. Plus, these don't have wireless charging. Maybe they have good sound, but as open ear earbuds, they're not really meant for audiophiles, anyway. I really feel like companies add LDAC and other high-quality codecs to their open ear earbuds just to be able to say they have them, regardless of the value they bring.

If you want to hear the world around you, there are a lot of earbuds that have ANC and transparency modes so that you can hear your environment when you need to. I think the whoel open ear earbud thing is a tech fad that will fade soon when people realize they can get more features for less money from more standard in-ear earbuds.

  11. I agree with you Bose is not the same has they were back in the day and I don’t think open earbuds should be that expensive especially since that Soundcore has open buds that are not that must in price. The only thing from Bose that I like is the Bose qc ultra headphones does are decent but everything ouch they sell is a no for me your better going with another brand yes just like the Bose qc earbuds not the ultra when they first came out they did not have dual connect which not cool

  12. Bose, Brook Stone, Sharper Image, Apple, Sony and so on, make money off of their name. They brag that if you buy from them, you're getting your money's worth. The problem is, their stuff is over-priced. You're spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on stuff you can get for less on places like Amazon. Many cheaper competitors offer the same specs for a lot less than someone like Apple, Bose and Sony who's asking you to spend more.

Several no name brands have been selling these clip on earbud earrings for about two years or so. Bose decided to make their own, but sell theirs for a premium price. I would rather take my chances on the no name brands they sell for one hundred dollars or less rather than spend $300 on one Bose product. No multipoint connection, no wireless recharging, no noise-cancelling and so on doesn't justify $300. Which is why I don't buy Bose. Even if I had the money, the cheaper brands may not have the same quality as Bose or Apple, but I can get more for my money for less the cost of one Bose, Apple or Sony product. But people out there, keep on buying over-priced stuff because it's their favorite brand, and it makes them look special.

  13. I think you're correct here. I wouldn't be looking to bose for open earbuds. Most people wouldn't do it either when there's a lot of open earbuds that're like half the price and also less than a quarter of it. They're just trying to see what they can get away with.
